Qt mobile-demos =============== * Introduction Mobile demos are a set of small applications created focusing mobile devices, using the Qt S60 port. However, as Qt is everywere, you can also run these demos in your desktop (Linux/Windows/MacOSX) or even on Maemo powered devices (e.g. N900). * Are the demos complete applications? At first, no. They were developed based on concepts of applications with rich user interfaces. * Which Qt version did you use for Maemo 5? http://qt.gitorious.org/+qt-developers/qt/x11-maemo/commits/4.6-fremantle Newer deb packags will be available as libqt4-maemo5 in extras-devel and also at http://qtlabs.openbossa.org/mobile-demos/maemo/ soon. * Are there binary packages available? Precompiled packages for S60 and Maemo are available at http://qtlabs.openbossa.org/mobile-demos/ These demos were developed for S60 5th edition (e.g. N97, 5800, with touchscreen as the main input method), but the same packages work on S60 3rd as well. So, keypad support and screen size adjustments are nice improvements for the future. * Where can I find more information about Qt-S60? Qt-S60 will be release as part of Qt-4.6. Until the release, you can find the information needed here: http://pepper.troll.no/s60prereleases/
