qmake: refactor QMakeMetaInfo::findLib() interface
move the logic for trying different extensions to
MakefileGenerator::processPrlFile(), which is the only user of that
functionality. that makes findLib() rather trivial and a bit of a
misnomer, so rename it to checkLib().
