Refactor xcb configure logic
- This is more readable in my opinion.
- Fixes the bug where configure script would fail in certain
cases for CFG_XCB="auto" by complaining of missing xcb
dependencies. "auto" should not fail, in case of missing
dependencies it should set CFG_XCB to "no".
- Error messages are more accurate.
