As we want Qt's own revisions to follow the Qt versioning scheme, we
need to allow for the minor version to reset to 0 now. In order to
facilitate this, we interpret the argument passed the current Q_REVISION
macro as major version and allow for an optional minor version. Both are
encoded it into the resulting revision number.

QByteArray::fromBase64 was liberal in its input, simply skipping
over invalid characters. As a side-effect of this, it had
no error reporting, meaning it could not be used to convert
fromBase64 _and_ validate the input in one go.
Add more option flags to make fromBase64 strictly validate
its input. Since we want to know whether it has succeeded
or not, and the existing fromBase64 overloads do not
allow for that, introduce a new function that returns
an optional-like datatype.
While at it: base64 decoding can be done in-place; add an
rvalue overload to enable this use case.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QByteArray] Added the new fromBase64Encoding
function.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QByteArray] Added new flags to make
fromBase64 / fromBase64Encoding strictly validate their input,
instead of skipping over invalid characters.

We already detach immediately since change
c2d2757bccc68e1b981df059786c2e76f2969530. That basically removes
the main purpose of having QChar/ByteRef, and we can just as well
get rid of those classes for Qt 6.

as a pointer literal now considered bad form, it had been changed many
places to QFlags f = nullptr, which is meaningless and confusing.

moc extracts he name that is inthe Q_FLAG macro and that gets used in
qDebug(). As the documentation described, qDebug would have printed:
QFlags<LoadHints>(QLibrary::ResolveAllSymbolsHint)
which doesn't compile (though we could have partially specialized
QFlags<QFlags<E>> to be QFlags<E>). The semantically correct output is:
QFlags<LoadHint>(QLibrary::ResolveAllSymbolsHint)
which is what this change gets. The ideal output would be:
LoadHints(QLibrary::ResolveAllSymbolsHint)
But that's not a doc change.

The example snippet was using app.installTranslator() even
installTranslator() is a static function. And since app is a
QApplication instead a QCoreApplication this could lead to the
assumption that a QTranslator can only be used for gui applications.
Therefore use the correct static invocation
QCoreApplication::installTranslator().

That code would normally call for QSet::find instead
(Uniform Container Find cannot come soon enough).
Since the code is showcasing a STL algorithm usage,
port it to std::find_if to showcase a real use case.
As a drive-by: fix the usage of endl with std::cout.
(Ok, it's just a variable called "cout", and I'd argue
that in example code "cout" is not the name of a
QTextStream).

The whole reason of QCharRef/QByteRef existence is to have a magic
operator=. This operator= delays the actual detach up to
the moment something is written into the Ref, thus avoiding
spurious detaches to the underlying string/byte array.
operator= has also an extra feature, it allows this code to
succeed:
QString s("abc");
s[10] = 'z';
assert(s == "abc z");
This last behavior is *extremely* surprising.
The problem with all of this is that this extra convenience is
outweighted by the massive pessimization in the codegen for
operator[]; by the maintenance burden (QChar APIs need to be
mirrored in QCharRef, etc.), and, for the automatic resize, by the
fact that it's an super-niche use case.
Cherry on top, std::basic_string does not do that, and no Qt or std
container does that. In other words: any other container-like class
exhibits UB for out of bounds access.
We can't just go and change behavior, though. This is something
coming all the way back from Qt 2 (maybe even Qt 1), which means we
can't deprecate it at short notice.
This patch simply adds a warning in debug builds in case the special
resizing behavior is triggered. While at it, removes some code
duplication in QByteRef.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QString] The behavior of operator[] to allow
implicit resizing of the string has been deprecated, and will be
removed in a future version of Qt.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QByteArray] The behavior of operator[] to allow
implicit detaching and resizing of the byte array has been
deprecated, and will be removed in a future version of Qt.

Add documentation on how to use a module from CMake, alongside
the existing documentation about qmake. Separate generic info
from module-specific examples, to make it possible to use one
include file in all modules.
While at it, also remove the mentioning of the central include;
it is not something we should actively advocate anymore. Instead,
the documentation of every class gives the correct include to use.
