Any attempt to create a non-null QPixmap in a QCoreApplication-based
app would give a hard crash without a warning. This commit adds a
check and instead calls qFatal with an explanatory message.
This was originally fixed in Qt 4 (ref. QTBUG-17873) but that was lost
in the migration to Qt 5.
Note that this fix still allows null QPixmaps to be created under
QCoreApplication, since that has worked in all Qt 5 versions.

The vast majority is actually switched to QRandomGenerator::bounded(),
which gives a mostly uniform distribution over the [0, bound)
range. There are very few floating point cases left, as many of those
that did use floating point did not need to, after all. (I did leave
some that were too ugly for me to understand)
This commit also found a couple of calls to rand() instead of qrand().
This commit does not include changes to SSL code that continues to use
qrand() (job for someone else):

If the server and client has different endian we need to swizzle the
image pixels, we can do that by swizzling the masks and try to match
the new configuration. This is a rather rare setup so we don't try
to match every combination.
This patch fixes the colors when running Qt in a bigendian QEMU chroot.

Currently a file with a .9.png extension will only have its @2x variant
found if it follows this format:
foo.9@2x.png
Since ".9" should be considered part of the file suffix, it should
ideally be able to look like this and still be picked up:
foo@2x.9.png
This patch makes qt_findAtNxFile() account for .9.* extensions.
This is needed for the image-based style support in Qt Quick Controls
2, which uses 9-patch images.
qmlbench benchmark results using
benchmarks\auto\creation\quick.image\delegates_image.qml with
QT_SCALE_FACTOR=2 show no difference in performance after this patch
is applied.
[ChangeLog][QtGui] High DPI variants of 9-patch images can now be
loaded using the following syntax: "foo@2x.9.png"

The endian integers have more use than just in QJson, and is already
used separately by QtDeclarative. This patch moves q_littleendian out
of qjson_p.h and matches it with a corresponding q_bigendian, and puts
it to use in simplifying endian handling in the ico image handler.

Even for compilers that don't yet support C++14 constexpr,
this should improve performance of searches a lot, if,
indeed, Boyer-Moore still is an optimization over linear
searching at all in these days of hardware prefetchers
and deep CPU pipelines, because the setup cost is only
incurred once. As function-statics, we also don't care
about startup ordering and cost.
It's a pity that the platform that would benefit the most
- Windows - doesn't have constexpr support, yet.

Fixes two separate errors. QImage::transform was incorrectly adding
colors to the color-table of the returned image when the converted image
