Having the helpers in each respective module lets us implement the
helpers using private APIs without forcing the test to add private
dependencies.
It also makes it easier to test Qt using a third party testing
framework (for running the test suite), while still using the helpers
for ensuring tests behave expectedly.

The new modular configuration system requires one global
header per module, that is included by all other files in
this module.
A similar scheme and naming convention is already being used
for many other modules (e.g. printsupport, qml, quick).
That header will later on #include the configuration file
for Qt Gui. For now it defines the Q_GUI_EXPORT macro for
this library.
In addition, add a private global header, qtguiglobal_p.h,
that can later on include the private config header for
Qt Gui for things we don't want to export to the world.

Add a coordinate scaling layer to QtGui, which supports 'devicePixelRatio'
type high-dpi on all platforms, in production and also for
development and testing purposes.
High-DPI scaling is opt-in, by setting environment variables:
QT_SCALE_FACTOR - sets a global scale factor
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR - sets per-screen scale factors,
where the scale factors are provided by the platform plugin.
This QtGui scaling can be used instead of or in addition to scaling
done by the window system. This distinction is not visible to
applications [when they use Qt API], which will see a change in
the value returned by the devicePixelRatio() accessors as usual.
Introduce a new (private to Qt) coordinate system: native pixels.
The coordinate system stack now looks like:
device-independent pixels (app, upper parts of Qt)
native pixels (lower parts of Qt Gui, platform plugins)
device pixels (backing stores and OpenGL)
Add private QHighDpi namespace with scaling functions that convert
between device-independent pixels and native pixels:
T toNativePixels(T, QWindow *);
T fromNativePixels(T, QWindow *);
Add scaling calls the QWindow (and friends) cross-platform implementation,
around the calls to QPlatformWindow functions. QPlatformWindow now uses
native coordinates - platform code remains largely unchanged since native
coordinates are window system coordinates.
QWindow now uses (possibly) scaled coordinates. This means that
platform plugins no longer can rely on QWindow::geometry() and
related functions. QPlatformWindow::windowGeometry() and other
convenience functions have been added for use when the platform
plugin needs to convert scaled geometry to native geometry.
Add Qt::AA_NoHighDpiScaling, which can be use to disable any
scaling in QtGui, effectively ignoring the environment variables.
(Note that this does not disable any scaling done by the window
system.)

On embedded the mouse cursor will now appear and reappear regardless of
how the input handling code is loaded (via a generic plugin or compiled-in
to the platform plugin).
Instead of passing around QDeviceDiscovery instances that only works
when compiling-in the code into the platform plugin, introduce a new
internal central QInputDeviceManager. The single instance of this
provides a place to store any future input device related signals and
properties.
Also introduce mouse hotplugging support to linuxfb.
[ChangeLog][QtGui] The mouse cursor on Embedded Linux is now handling
hotplugging correctly with eglfs and linuxfb regardless of how the input
handling code is loaded (via a generic plugin or built in to the platform
plugin).

Use of this was removed from QtWayland quite a long time ago, which was the only
public user of this API.
Furthermore, it isn't easily possible to implement any use of this API without
full control of the graphics stack (a very rare occurrence) and there is no
public demonstration of this.
There is ongoing research to provide a better replacement for this in the form
of QPlatformHardwareCompositor.

A simple convenience class providing a QWindow that has a
paintEvent and supports opening a painter on itself. It
behaves exactly like QOpenGLWindow in this respect, which is not
surprising since they share the same base class (QPaintDeviceWindow).
QRasterWindow does not however have any OpenGL dependencies and will
be present in -no-opengl builds too.

In case the QPlatformTheme does not provide a QPlatformMenu the
QPlatformSystemTrayIcon is not able to forward the menu because the
QPlatformMenu pointer passed to updateMenu is always null. Providing a
QPlatformMenu in the QPlatformTheme implementation should not be a
requirement for having the menu in the system tray icon. There are
cases where no QPlatformMenu should be created by the theme, e.g. if
the X11 implementation of QSystemTrayIcon gets provided by the xcb
plugin.
The change adds a virtual method to QPlatformSystemTrayIcon to create
a QPlatformMenu. This method is called from the QPA implementation of
QSystemTrayIcon if the QMenu's platformMenu is not present. Thus the
system tray icon is able to provide a custom implementation of the
menu. This gets installed through a new internal method in QMenu to set
the platform menu. It creates the required connections and sync the
state to the QMenu to the newly created QPlatformMenu.
Last but not least QPlatformMenu is extended by a method to create a
QPlatformMenuItem. The default implementation delegates to the platform
theme. This allows to provide the menu item implementation for the
system tray icon without providing the QPlatformMenuItem through the
platform theme.

Implement QPlatformSystemTrayIcon providing QPA-plugin-support for
system tray icons. Make QSystemTrayIcon use this as new backend.
Ported over qsystemtrayicon_mac.mm to qcocoasystemtrayicon.mm to provide
Cocoa support for the new interface. It had to be changed to match the
interface, especially for icon and menu handling.
This interface is made to not use QStyle or QMenu which are related
classes of QSystemTrayIcon. It's therefore not introducing QtWidget
dependency into the platform plugin.

The main reasons for doing this are:
1. _qpa.h end up in the master QtGui include file. QtGui is meant for
userland applications. qpa code is neither binary nor source compatible.
Inadvertant use of QPA api makes the user code binary-incompatible.
2. syncqt creates forwarding headers for non-private header files. This
gives people the impression that this is public API.
As discussed on the mailing list, even though QPA api is internal and subject
to change, it needs to treated differently from private headers since they
will be used by in-qtbase and out-of-qtbase plugins.
This commit does the following:
1. The _qpa in QPA header files is dropped.
2. syncqt now treats any file with qplatform prefix as a special file and
moves it to qpa/ directory. The recommended way of using QPA API in plugins
is: #include <qpa/qplatformfoo.h>. This allows the user include QPA API
from multiple modules (for example, qplatformfoo might be in QtPrintSupport)
3. The user needs to explicitly add QT += <module>-private to get access to
the qpa api.
4. Creates compat headers for the olden style qplatformfoo_qpa.h and QPlatformFoo
includes.
This commit does not change the cpp filenames. This requires a more careful
merging of existing non qpa cpp files and existing cpp files on a case by
case basis. This can be done at anytime.
The following files are not renamed as part of this changed but will be fixed
as part of a future change:
src/gui/kernel/qgenericpluginfactory_qpa.h
src/gui/kernel/qgenericplugin_qpa.h
src/gui/kernel/qwindowsysteminterface_qpa.h

for x in `find . -name "qplatform*_qpa_p.h"`; do git mv $x "${x/_qpa_p.h/_p.h}"; done
includes were renamed using script

QInputMethod better describes what the class is about, input methods
in general, be they panels or just composing input from key events.
Compatability headers added for old name. Not bulletproof but should be
enough to get transition done.

of OpenGl. The ifdef QT_NO_OPENGL in the opengl headers
are needed, as qmake adds depends in the makefiles
for all GUI headers.

This makes it possible for platform plugin independent code (such as
generic plugins) to report changes to screen properties. An example
would be an accelerometer plugin that reports orientation changes
without knowing anything about the windowing system.

The capability flags indicate which information is valid in the touch
points. Previously there was no way to tell if e.g. the value returned
by pressure() is actually the value provided by the driver/device or
it is just something bogus due to pressure not being supported.
The points' flags return information about the individual touch
points. One use case is to differentiate between touches made by
finger and pen.
Velocity, if available, is now also exposed.
Each touch point can now contain an additional list of "raw"
positions. These points are not reported individually but are taken
into account in some way by the underlying device and drivers to
generate the final, "accurate" touch point. In case the underlying
drivers expose these additional positions, they are made available in
the lists returned by the touch points' rawScreenPosition().
The raw positions are only available in screen coordinates to prevent
wasting time with mapping from global positions in applications that
do not use this data. Instead, apps can query the QWindow to which the
touch event was sent via QTouchEvent::window() and can call
mapFromGlobal() manually if they need local raw positions.
The capability and device type information is now held in a new
QTouchDevice class. Each touch event will contain only a pointer to
one of the global QTouchDevice instances. On top of type and
capability, the new class also contains a name which can be used to
differentiate between multiple touch input devices (i.e. to tell from
which one a given QTouchEvent originates from).
The introduction of QTouchDevice has three implications: The
QTouchEvent constructor and QWindowSystemInterface::handleTouchEvent
need to be changed (to pass a QTouchDevice pointer instead of merely a
device type value), and each platform or generic plug-in is now
responsible for registering one or more devices using the new API
QWindowSystemInterface::registerTouchDevice.

Implement QCocoaPlatformTheme. The menus and dialog
API is moved from the platform to the theme plugin.
(Both APIs contain references to QtWidget classes,
which we are working towards removing.)
The theme plugin is created after the platform
plugin, first by asking the platform plugin, then
by looking for a separate plugin if the platform
does not specify a theme.
