| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The logic for handling cancel operations was spread out through the code base and sometimes hard-coded to only include the Escape key shortcut, missing the Command+. shortcut. We now intercept both attempts at cancel operations from the system through cancelOperation, which we forward as normal key events. A new QKeySequence::StandardKey has been added for the Cancel sequence, which maps to Escape on all platforms, and Command+. in addition for OS X. The hard-coded logic in QWidget and subclasses for dealing with closing the dialogs has been replaced with this key sequence, which allows clients to override the behavior. Note that the widget code is not wrapped in checks for QT_NO_SHORTCUT, as we don't care about keeping widgets building and working under that define. The logic in QCocoaWindow to bypass windowShouldClose when delivering IM events has been removed as we now handle that specific case by also forwarding Escape as a cancel operation. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | QPlatformTheme::keyBindings() performs a binary search into an ordered list of StandardKey -> Key Sequence mappings where each StandardKey can have multiple key sequences. Previously the order of the Key Sequences in the returned list would be indeterministic and, except for the designated pri-1 key sequence, would not necessarily correspond to the list order. (The ordering was dependent on where the binary search "hits", which again depends on the size of the list.) This caused trouble when adding mappings, since it would change the order in the returned key sequence list for existing mappings and confusingly cause (apparently) unrelated test failures. Fix this by replacing the manually coded binary search with std::equal_range. One test case needed to be fixed up because it had the result in the wrong order (verified by looking at QPlatformTheme::keyBindings). Current behavior remains the same. QEvent previously used the hardcoded values in QKeySequencePrivate so this was modified to use QKeySequence::keyBindings(). In order to keep the speed of QEvent's former binary search, we moved this code to QPlatformTheme::keyBindings(), making it faster for all keyBinding lookups. As we now need to search by StandardKey instead of by shortcut the list is reordered and a test is changed to reflect that. Then, the QStyle implementation should query the platform theme for the pixmaps, and build the icons accordingly using ThemeHint::IconPixmapSizes. Same thing for QFileIconProvider. This also opens future support for getting platform dependent pixmaps in QtQuick components. Also includes the implementation for the Cocoa (QCocoaTheme) and Windows (QWindowsTheme) platform plugins.
