Added void return type to several \fn commands.
The return type should always be included with
the \fn command in clang-qdoc.

It was superseded by begin()/end() in Qt 5.8.
The eventual removal of rects() will allow greater flexibility
in the implementation's choice of data structure (std::vector,
e.g., or QVarLengthArray).
Remove all traces of rects() from the documentation. This means
we need to copy information previously contained in the rects()
docs to functions which previously just referred to rects(), in
particular the begin()/end() familiy of functions.

Use begin()/end()/rectCount() instead, which don't require QRegionPrivate
::vectorize() calls.
In QPaintEngineEx::clip(), the rectCount() == 1 case called clip(QRect), but
forgot to return, causing another clip(QVectorPath) call with the same
arguments. Fixed.

The variable is there to work around an aliasing issue.
Since this code is likely coming straight from Qt 2 or 3,
I'm not doing any major modification, just explaining why that
variable is necessary and mark it as unused (so that a static
analyzer that knows about value classes won't complain that
we're creating a QVector without using it).

Most of these involved moving or removing extraneous
aide-memoir comments left by programmers between qdoc
comments and their functions. There were also some
cases where Q_CLANG_QDOC had to be tested to make
something visible to clangqdoc. And there were a few
functions that should not have been documented at all.

DirectWrite: Fix advances being scaled to 0
Since 131eee5cd, the stretch of a font can be 0, meaning
"whatever the font provides". In combination with ec7fee96,
this would cause advances in the DirectWrite engine to be scaled to
0, causing the QRawFont test to fail.

As of version 10.12 (Sierra), the name of Apple's desktop operating
system will be macOS. Change the occurrences where the Mac platform
is discussed to use a macro \macos, which expands to 'macOS'. This
helps with adapting to future renaming.
Update the instructions on mac-specific Q_OS_* macro usage.
Add a \target for the old 'Qt for OS X' topic to keep links working
for other documentation modules that try to link with the old name.

These types are held in QVarLengthArrays, so benefit
from being trivially relocatable. They are also part
of the private API, so there's no BC issues with
potential uses of these types in QList, except for
QPainter::PixmapFragment, which consequently has been
marked as relocatable only.

Virtually all code in Qt that inspects a QRegion does
so by calling rects(), which returns a QVector<QRect>.
But rects() has a problem: A QRegion that contains just
one rectangle internally is not represented by a QVector,
and the mere act of calling rects() makes QRegion create
one.
So, expose the fact that QRegion is a container of QRects
to users by providing iterators and begin()/end(), which
can be nothrow, since for the one-rectangle case, instead
of vectorize()ing the region, we just return pointers to
(and one past) the 'extent' rectangle.
As a consequence, the iterator type is just const QRect*,
but I think that whatever containers QRegion may use under
the hood in the future, it will be certainly one that is
layout-compatible with a C array.
No mutable iterators are provided, since QRegion maintains
a running bounding-rect, so a mutable iterator would have
to call into QRegion for every change, which doesn't make
sense.
[ChangeLog][QtGui][QRegion] Is now iterable as a container
of QRects: added {c,}{r,}{begin,end}().

The POINTBLOCK struct in qregion.cpp is badly defined. By using ints
as the base storage of the internal array it forces not only bad casting
from int to QPoint, but also allocates an array four times too big.
This patch changes to char, since a char pointer may alias anything and
this gives the right size of the array.

This patch adds a new config option to qmake to enable full optimization
where it makes sense. This currently is supported on all gcc like
compilers by exchanging -O2 for -O3.
In qtbase it is used to enable full optimizations on qtcore and qtgui
and in a later patch can be used to replace similar existing logic in
QtWebKit's WTF and JavaScriptCore modules.
This fixes a performance regression from gcc 4.7 to 4.8 in the software
renderer.
An aliasing error in qregion.cpp which was exposed by more aggresive
optimization has been solved as well.
