* cmake: Start to use ConfigExtra.cmake filesKevin Funk2019-02-121-180/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Enables the use of e.g. QT_NO_DEBUG in compiler flags, -fPIC, passing on of QT_NAMESPACE, etc. pp. Dropping a lot of custom code which handled adding imported targets for the command-line tools (this is all being handled by CMake already). It needs to be investigated if we need to resurrect Qt5GuiConfigExtras.cmake.in in one way or the other. * CMake: Introduce Q_OBJECT qdoc macroTobias Hunger2019-01-252-10/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CMake's moc file scanning is rather primitive: It will run moc on any file containing a line that starts with Q_OBJECT (and similar macros). We have four files in QtBase that contain such a macro at the start of the line in a qdoc comment. These four files were excluded from automatic moc handling by cmake, which is not ideal, since this will silently fail when somebody actually adds a Q_OBJECT macro in code. This patch introduces a macro Q_OBJECT for qdoc. This macro will be replaced with Q_OBJECT in the generated documentation. While not nice, at least a failure to use \Q_OBJECT is noticeable: Moc will warn about the file. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These functions have not been used by the font selection algorithm in Qt 5. Calling lastResortFamily() always gave you "helvetica" and lastResortFont() would actually crash. Since we cannot remove them before Qt 6, we deprecate them for now and update the documentation to give a more accurate description of how the font matching works in Qt 5. Note that in the non-native QFontDialog, it tries to implement its own font matching algorithm and therefore was calling lastResortFamily(). Since fixing QFontDialog is not within the scope of this patch, I have just replaced the call by "helvetica" directly, so that it will continue to behave the same. [ChangeLog][QtGui][Text] Deprecated QFont::lastResortFamily() and QFont::lastResortFont() which are not in use in Qt 5 and did not provide any useful information. It happens because there is a code snippet in Comment column for tag "meta" that uses pre-formatted text. Let's make it happen only in that case, so that the much more common case of "foo.png" doesn't go through iconEngineFromSuffix twice, nor through QMimeDatabase (which has to load and parse an XML file in order to determine preferredSuffix(), unfortunately). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When native dialogs become visible, their invisible proxy Qt dialog blocks input to Qt windows. It is intended for native dialogs which can't block Qt windows themselves, e.g. on Android. But this behavior is incompatible with native dialogs which are implemented as in-process Qt windows, because the proxy dialog blocks them as well. This change introduces QPlatformDialogHelper::DialogIsQtWindow style which allows to detect such cases and prevent blocking. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Also fix up the docs. To make everything more complicated, OpenGL ES 3.2 does not support default tessellation levels. Therefore the related functions remain OpenGL 4.0+ only. [ChangeLog][QtGui] QOpenGLShader has been fixed to expose geometry and tessellation evaluation/control shaders with OpenGL ES 3.2. There are checks for this in all the QTextCursor functions to skip out early if such a QTextCursor is used. However, when executing the "if (d->priv)" condition in setters, this will access the non-const operator->() of QSharedDataPointer and detach the QTextCursorPrivate, and in the copy constructor of this class, there was an unprotected call into priv->addCursor(). In theory, we could cast all the checks for d->priv to avoid detaching, but in practice this doesn't matter, since the setters will typically detach anyway later on. [ChangeLog][QtGui][Text] Fixed a crash that can happen when calling a setter on a QTextCursor after its QTextDocument has been deleted.
