| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | FreeBSD < 10 doesn't have the LLINDEX macro either in net/if_dl.h, so besides OpenBSD yet another condition to declare the LLINDEX macro for systems where it isn't present does make it more complicated than replacing its usage with the actual code. * | | | Make moc obey the preprocessor environment variable for include pathsThiago Macieira2016-07-201-0/+4
|/ / / | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | C preprocessors augment their standard list of include paths from the environment: Unix preprocessors use $C_INCLUDE_PATH (for C) and $CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH (for C++), plus CPATH for both, whereas MSVC uses the an environment variable simply called "INCLUDE". Handling this for MSVC is particularly important because the VCVARSALL.BAT script sets the necessary #include paths in the environment for important things. Without that being parsed, moc won't find some #defines, like WINAPI_DESKTOP_FAMILY. [ChangeLog][moc] qmake and moc now cooperate to use the Visual Studio environment variables (set by the VCVARSALL.BAT script) to find system include files. A possible consequence is that moc parses application headers slightly differently, depending on #if conditions that depended on macros that previous versions had not seen #define'd. Implementers of other buildsystems are advised to pass the --compiler-flavor=msvc option to moc. That header will later on #include the configuration file for Qt Network. For now it defines the Q_NETWORK_EXPORT macro for this library. A failed hr is reported to the outside (of the lambda) and interpreted as an unknown error. Specific error cases like the given address not being a local address or the given address being in use already are handled inside the lambda. The specificErrorSet variable is necessary in these cases so that the error is not overwritten by unknownError. It can be used for both receiving as well as sending data. It's called QNetworkDatagram so it can be used by QSctpSocket too, when that lands. [ChangeLog][QtNetwork] Added QNetworkDatagram class, along with new function receiveDatagram in QUdpSocket that returns it and an overload to writeDatagram that can accept it. At that point the state was closingDown, but not wasDeleted yet. Especially on slower arm devices, callbacks are done from another thread causing synchronization issues. Hence closingDown needs to be synced and handleReadyRead needs to have more criterias to return early to avoid invalid access crashes. Easiest to reproduce is heavy scrolling on the mapviewer example when it downloads a huge amount of tiles and cancels those requests when not in view anymore. | | * QWindowsPipeWriter: ensure validity of the write bufferAlex Trotsenko2016-04-303-18/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | QWindowsPipeWriter uses asynchronous API to perform writing. Once a cycle has been started, the write buffer must remain valid until the write operation is completed. To avoid data corruption and possibly undefined behavior, this patch makes QWindowsPipeWriter::write() take a QByteArray, which it keeps alive for the duration of the write cycle. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ... by replacing them with C++11 range-for loops. This is the simplest of the patch series: Q_FOREACH took a copy, so we do, too. Except we don't, since we're just catching the return value that comes out of the function (RVO). We can't feed the rvalues into range-for, because they are non-const and would thus detach. Change-Id: I42c9c44d948ab1512a69d42890187bc3cf2d7e58 Reviewed-by: Lars Knoll <lars.knoll@theqtcompany.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | According to the documentation tcp sockets are closed properly if their instances are deleted when no read operation is pending. Thus we have to keep track of the running read operation, cancel it (only available on Windows 10) and delete it before closing the socket. As there is no way to cancel the read operation on Windows 8.1 the hard reset still happens there.
