QLocalSocket::error is overloaded as a signal and an accessor (for the
error reported by the signal). This means connecting to the signal using
a pointer to member function would require ambiguity resolution. We
deprecate the old accessor (to be removed in Qt 6) and introduce a new one -
'socketError'.
[ChangeLog][Deprecation Notice] QLocalSocket::error() (the getter) is deprecated; superseded by socketError().

as a pointer literal now considered bad form, it had been changed many
places to QFlags f = nullptr, which is meaningless and confusing.

QObjectPrivate::threadData used to be a QThreadData *, and was
read and written from multiple threads without proper synchronization.
As an example, it was read from QCoreApplication::postEvent and
written from QObject::moveToThread, therefore causing UB.
Port threadData to a proper atomic, removing the races. Fix all usage
points.
In general, QObject is documented to be simply reentrant,
not thread-safe, and certain bits (e.g. timers, moveToThread)
are not even reentrant. The reasoning therefore is that a given
QObject's threadData is not supposed to be touched by multiple
threads without some synchronization happening elsewhere, and
therefore relaxed loads should be sufficient.
As drive-by change: refactor QCoreApplication::postEvent.
It was particularly subtle, because it had a loop using a volatile
to cope with the possibility of the receiver object switching thread
while we tried to lock its thread's event queue.
However, volatile does not achieve any synchronization, so drop it,
and refactor the algorithm using better locking primitives.
Put this algorithm in a common place, and also reuse it from
removePostedEvents, which was lacking any synchronization.

tests/auto/corelib/kernel/qsocketnotifier includes cpp files from
src/network, and this blows up at the linking step in a static build,
due to duplicate symbols when linking the mocs_compilation of network
and the test.
Include the moc file in the .cpp file as we usually did in other cases,
to prevent duplicate symbols.

Increased size of the peek buffer to 2048 from 1500 and now
uses QVarLengthArray with space for 10 stack-allocated WSABUF instances,
but still growing at the pace of 5.
In benchmarking (created for and included in this patch) this shows
better performance when retrieving the datagram size for larger
datagrams, and the same performance as before for smaller datagrams
(at the cost of 2048 - 1500 + 16 * 10 = 708 bytes extra stack space).

The previous code handled only some error codes, in a very inefficient
way, for some code paths. This change standardizes error handling using
a helper function that maps winsock WSAE* codes to Qt error codes.
The test for connecting to unreachable hosts or ports is now more
generic, and enabled on Windows, where it passes in local tests,
but dependency on network configuration still makes it fragile,
so ignoring some failures without completely skipping the test.

When calling waitFor{ReadyRead,Disconnected} it will wait for data but
if the data is already received and the read notification has been
queued (and there's no more data coming in) it will return false.
By checking if a read notification has been queued and then handling
this we can easily take care of this scenario.
Fixes some flaky tests which missed the read data in waitForDisconnect
and similar.

If we end up in the connected state then we should pass on any
remaining data immediately instead of waiting until the next time we get
a read notification.
The other `case`s in the switch might be able to do something similar,
but I don't want to introduce that logic now in case it breaks something
else, the Connected branch is small and simple to deal with.
Should severely reduce flakiness with socks proxy in CI under pressure.

Make sure "this" still exists when we're done sending the
readNotification.
The crash manifested itself when connecting to certain websites as they
would reply with status 403, then close the connection. On our end we
would then handle this "remote host closed" followed by handling the
data we received. The http code handles the data successfully and sees
we are done and there is nothing more to do, so it closes the
connection. Which leads to closing QAbstractSocket, which closes
native socket again and then deletes it.
