* QtNetwork: eradicate Q_FOREACH loops [rvalues]Marc Mutz2016-05-041-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | ... by replacing them with C++11 range-for loops. This is the simplest of the patch series: Q_FOREACH took a copy, so we do, too. Except we don't, since we're just catching the return value that comes out of the function (RVO). We can't feed the rvalues into range-for, because they are non-const and would thus detach. * QIODevice: handle incomplete readsAlex Trotsenko2016-01-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Introduce a transaction mechanism that gives the ability to read the data atomically. Current implementation supports transactions for both types of devices. For sequential devices, it records the whole input stream during transaction. For random-access devices, device position is saved when transaction starts. If an error occurs, the application may be able to recover the input stream by rolling back to the start point. Also, QIODevice::peek() was rewritten to make use of transactions internally. The replacement of QIODevicePrivateLinearBuffer by QRingBuffer is closely entangled with that, which makes it unfeasible to do separately. Bump the TypeInformationVersion field in qtHookData, to notify the Qt Creator developers that the offset of QFilePrivate::fileName was changed and dumpers should be adapted. [ChangeLog][QtCore] Added QIODevice's startTransaction(), commitTransaction(), rollbackTransaction(), isTransactionStarted() functions to support the read transactions. That patch lead to some internal state issues that lead to the QTBUG-47048 or to QNetworkReply objects erroring with "Connection Closed" when the server closed the Keep-Alive connection. This patch changes the QNAM socket slot connections to be DirectConnection. We don't close the socket anymore in slots where it is anyway in a closed state afterwards. This prevents event/stack recursions. We also flush QSslSocket/QTcpSocket receive buffers when receiving a disconnect so that the developer always gets the full decrypted data from the buffers. For QProcess::waitForFinished, if the process started within almost exactly the timeout time passed to waitForFinished, msecs - stopWatch.elapsed() would be -1, which is a special value.
