* create modularized version of qtplatformsupport moduleOswald Buddenhagen2016-10-152-2/+13
| | | | | | | | | | lumping together all kinds of unrelated stuff has caused problems with spurious dependencies from the beginning. as the modularization infra is now in a state which supports many small private libraries just fine, take advantage of it. * Pick up changes to device-pixel-ratio in QRasterBackingStoreTor Arne Vestbø2016-09-271-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | Regression from 2d2d9078, which assumed the code in QBackingStore::beginPaint would apply to macOS as well, but QHighDpiScaling::isActive() is only active when Qt does the high DPI scaling, so we never hit the resize() code-path. Adds backingStore() accessor to go from QPlatformBackingStore to QBackingStore. Change-Id: I5de2ade74e731df445ea22e0f49b2a121e678efe Reviewed-by: Morten Johan Sørvig <morten.sorvig@qt.io>
* macOS: Implement QCocoaBackingStore in terms of QRasterBackingStoreTor Arne Vestbø2016-09-182-6/+16
| | | | | | | | | The previous detection of device pixel ratio changes in paintDevice() is not needed, as QBackingStore::beginPaint() already does this check and calls resize(). Change-Id: I9ee8410fa3a5404c5ec19d2cba4543a9e3359fe9 Reviewed-by: Morten Johan Sørvig <morten.sorvig@qt.io>

* iOS: Switch backingstore to use raster paint engine, not GLTor Arne Vestbø2015-12-173-0/+177
Now that more of the raster operations are NEON-optimized this should be acceptable. The switch enables antialiased drawing, and makes iOS in line with other platforms in having QBackingStore backed by a QImage. The use of QImage also allows us to remove code from the backingstore implementation that was only needed to support the composeAndFlush code path. The common parts of a raster backingstore implementation have been factored out into QRasterBackingStore in platformsupport, which can be shared with more platforms in the future. [ChangeLog][iOS] QBackingStore now uses the raster paint engine instead of the OpenGL paint engine, enabling improved antialiased drawing. In case of performance regressions, the old code path can be enabled by setting the window's surface type to QSurface::OpenGLSurface.
