* | | QtBase (remainder): use printf-style qWarning/qDebug where possible (I)Marc Mutz2016-03-122-5/+5
|/ / | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The printf-style version of QDebug expands to a lot less code than the std::ostream-style version. Of course, you pay in type safety (but compilers warn about it these days), you cannot stream complex Qt types and streaming QStrings is awkward, but in many cases you actually improve on readability. But the main reason is that something that's not supposed to be executed under normal operation has no business bloating executable code size. This is not an attempt at converting all qWarnings() to printf-style, only the low-hanging fruit. In this first part, replace qWarning() << "" with qWarning("..."). Had to fix broken qImDebug() definition. Instead of defining it as a nullary macro in the QT_NO_DEBUG case and as a variadic macro in the other, define it in both cases, as is customary, as a non-function macro so that overload selection works without requiring variadic macro support of the compiler. Saves e.g. ~250b in text size in QtPrintSupport on optimized GCC 5.3 AMD64 builds. Change-Id: Ie30fe2f7942115d5dbf99fff1750ae0d477c379f Reviewed-by: Kai Koehne <kai.koehne@theqtcompany.com>

After the refactoring, 14960f52, in 5.7 branch and a merge, it is not needed any more. | * Optionally force delivery of TUIO pseudo touch eventsAriel Molina2016-02-121-0/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | TUIO is not a standard "device" as the first application takes exclusive ownership, this patch makes it deliver the events to the root window when the app is not focused, allowing for interactive application development on simulators running on the same desktop. To force delivery set the environment variable QT_TUIOTOUCH_DELIVER_WITHOUT_FOCUS to 1 Change-Id: I157f59982a1b2025ef8efdf709fe40c78339c1b4 Reviewed-by: Robin Burchell <robin.burchell@viroteck.net>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Unbundled TUIO messages were being ignored. TUIO protocol defaults to bundled but states it should work with any Open Sound Control (OSC) implementation. Unbundled handling was already in place, just fixed the logic to make it work. Change-Id: I6d91449bd2069ac891e493fb7f50c010bcc3e8be Reviewed-by: Robin Burchell <robin.burchell@viroteck.net>

* Long live the TuioTouch input plugin!Robin Burchell2014-12-1912-0/+1174
This is an import of the tuio2qt plugin (https://github.com/rburchell/tuio2qt), as of sha 9b1f163ac52ea440e83f16b3906f9b55e21b87be henceforth to be developed as a part of Qt itself. This plugin offers touch events via QPA interfaces, using data offered over the TUIO protocol (http://www.tuio.org). It is useful for accepting touch input on devices which otherwise don't have touch input (such as desktops) for the purposes of development, as well as accepting input from some hardware which offers up touch events specifically over the TUIO protocol. Known "shortcomings" at this time, as documented in the README: * Multiple TUIO sources sending data at the same time will conflict. This will not cause problems, strictly speaking, but it will not work well (repeated touchpoint release/press events for the same IDs) * TCP transport is not currently supported. I don't see a need for it at this time, but I have left the capability in terms of port acceptance open for it to be made available.
