| * QWidgetAction: Don't deactivate the current window on MacGabriel de Dietrich2015-10-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We check the name of the window class the widget's QNSView changes window and set a flag when the that window is a native Cocoa menu window. Later, only those views not inside a native menu can become first responder, ensuring Qt won't deactivate the main window. We're allowed to reject becoming the first responder mainly because Cocoa itself doesn't support sending key event to menu views and, therefore, it doesn't change what's already possible. This patch also sets the widget action visible, which needs to be done right after reparenting it to the container widget. Besides that, it also contains a few small code cleaning changes related to Cocoa's support of QWidgetAction. | * Clean up cancel operation handling on OS XTor Arne Vestbø2015-09-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The logic for handling cancel operations was spread out through the code base and sometimes hard-coded to only include the Escape key shortcut, missing the Command+. shortcut. We now intercept both attempts at cancel operations from the system through cancelOperation, which we forward as normal key events. A new QKeySequence::StandardKey has been added for the Cancel sequence, which maps to Escape on all platforms, and Command+. in addition for OS X. The hard-coded logic in QWidget and subclasses for dealing with closing the dialogs has been replaced with this key sequence, which allows clients to override the behavior. Note that the widget code is not wrapped in checks for QT_NO_SHORTCUT, as we don't care about keeping widgets building and working under that define. The logic in QCocoaWindow to bypass windowShouldClose when delivering IM events has been removed as we now handle that specific case by also forwarding Escape as a cancel operation. | | | | | | | | | | | when embedding a QWindow into a native cocoa gui there are cases that the QWindow is destroyed while the QNSView is still available. this patch makes sure that the m_window pointer is cleared when the QWindow is destroyed and adds checks to the implementation to avoid that m_window is called when it has already been destroyed. * Cocoa plugin - fix obscured/mapped/unmapped logicTimur Pocheptsov2015-02-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | NSWindow setStyleMask can call viewDidMoveToWindow, while setting the mask, view can have window == nil and we call 'obscure' on this view's platform window/QWindow == 'unmapping' it. As a result, it can happen that a child view (for example, QGLWidget's view) never gets mapped back. This patch tries to limit this special obscure/expose logic by the exact views it was introduced for (c7bd85e97df1b188bcbd4a2a511313d221c5bb83, QTBUG-19840). * OS X - Cocoa backing store and drawRectTimur Pocheptsov2014-10-281-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | m_backingStore pointer has a limited 'lifetime' - usually it is set in -flushBackingStore:region:offset: method, then -drawRect: is invoked/forced by -setNeedsDisplayInRect:, after that it's dangerous to have a non-null pointer to a backing store (and we reset it). But if Cocoa invokes drawRect (due to some reason) our null backing store pointer is also not good. This patch instead is using a shared resource (QImage) from a backing store. This patch also makes getBackingStoreCGImage() redundant - -drawRect: was the only place we called it. | * Cocoa: Do mouse move and cursor update handling separate from viewEike Ziller2014-06-241-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are using tracking areas for mouse move, enter/leave and cursor update events, so we should keep handling of that out of the "normal" event chain. If we handle mouse moved events in the views' mouseMoved method, we need to pass the event up the responder chain if we didn't handle it, or we would break for example hover behavior in native WebViews, because these do not handle mouse moved events directly in their mouseMoved:, but only if the event wasn't handled otherwise (arguably a bug in Web(HTML)View). But passing the event up the responder chain is not good either, because the QNSViews in the parent hierarchy get the event from their tracking areas already. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since we use native Cocoa menus, we cannot rely on the normal shortcut handling. Shortcuts can be overridden by the currently focused object in Qt. In order to make that possible we need to send a QShortcutOverride event before accepting any key event. For menus the key event goes from the NSApp directly to the menu, so the shortcutOverride would not work. This is mostly an adaptation of the Qt 4 code. | | | | | | | | | | | Re-use the QCocoaWindow implementation. This gives a small performance boost since NSWindow can skip drawing the background if it knows that the content view will fill with opaque pixels. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch includes a few different fixes to make transparent toplevels work on cocoa. - When setting alpha on the toplevel, it also needs setOpaque:NO - The OpenGL context needs a separate flag for this to work. - Make sure setOpaque fighting between setMask, setFormat and setOpacity ends up correctly Task-number: QTBUG-28214 Change-Id: Ic3a2d71193bb653e181c98787b4ebda002424092 Reviewed-by: Shawn Rutledge <shawn.rutledge@digia.com> Reviewed-by: Morten Johan Sørvig <morten.sorvig@digia.com>
| * QPA Cocoa Menu: Make sure mouse button state is clean after popupGabriel de Dietrich2013-02-111-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Calling popUpMenuPositioningItem:atLocation:inView: will swallow any mouse up/released event, if we popup on mouse down/pressed. Since we cache the button state in QNSView, the safest way seems to be to clear this button state. Another option would be to send Cocoa mouse up events for each mouse button, but we prefer to keep things simple.
