Its been available by default since at least libxcb 1.5, and in Qt 5.12
we have even increased the minimal required libxcb version to 1.9.
Having configure switches for extensions is a legacy from Qt 4. There
are still few exceptions in Qt5, where the reason is that we have to
support Linux distributions that don't ship recent enough libxcb.

On Linux the correspondence between cursor functions and names
of cursors has never been standardized. Projects have either
assembled their own cursor function-to-name lookup table or
borrowed the table from other projects. The origins of our table
is described in QTBUG-71423.
On Ubuntu the default theme is called Adwaita. Before
bd72950fbedc457fb997e99beff4767505ff5d8f, we would not find a
cursor for 'openhand' and would fall-back to QXcbCursor::
createNonStandardCursor(). Which was sub-optimal, because the
cursors created by the fall-back path don't look like the
themed ones. But the situation was worse after bd72950fb (hence
the regression) - the 'openhand' fall-back name 'fleur' is a
symbolic link to 'grabbing', so we would get into a situation
where Qt::OpenHandCursor displays the same as Qt::ClosedHandCursor.
This patch adds a correct fall-back name for 'openhand' on Adwaita,
which is 'grab'. 'grab' actually is a symbolic link to 'hand1', but
'hand1' with other theams is a pointing hand cursor, that is why we
use the symbolic link's name in this case.
The lookup table still appears to be incomplete when comparing e.g
with KWin. Eventually we need to revise the table and put in a common
place so it can be shared between X11 and Wayland, but is out-of-scope
for this patch (see QTBUG-71423).

... instead of using a hack of directly accessing QGuiApplication
members.
The current QPA API was bad for two reasons:
1) It expects platform plugin authors to know about
internals of Qt Gui, particularly that QGuiApplication
uses QGuiApplication::{mouseButtons,keyboardModifiers}
to construct QDragMoveEvent and QDropEvent events. Which
results in the second reason why this is bad.
2) Platform plugins should not directly access member
variables of QGuiApplication, just to make sure that
QDragMoveEvent and QDropEvent events contain correct state.
Platform plugins should instead use QWindowSystemInterface
to communicate with Qt Gui (which is also the solution here).
The solution is to extend QWindowSystemInterface::handle{Drag,Drop}
to require mouse/keyboard state. We already do this for
some of the other methods, so it is nothing extraordinary.
This type of interface is also _required_ to support
drag-n-drops from other processes. We can't use
QGuiApplication::{mouseButtons,keyboardModifiers} when the
drag originates from another process, instead we need to
query mouse/keyboard state from the system.
This patch fixes drag-n-drops from others processes on XCB
platform plugin.

We were using xcb_render_* APIs without checking if the server even
supports this extension. Attempting to use an extension which is
not present will always result in a crash. This patch adds the required
guards and refactors how we detect presence of XRender extension.
Also instead of falling back to some odd-looking bitmapped version
just leave the current cursor unchanged. That is how we did it in
Qt4 AFAICT.

... introduced by 422838685c31d9b57133a8711bfd5db92095d96d.
Instead of completely droping caching for bitmap cursors we can do
the same what is done in libXcursor - have a fixed size cache, with
oldest entries eventually being replaced with new bitmaps. This
fixes the original issue, where the hash was growing indefinitely
until running out of file descriptors and won't have the performance
penalty as in 422838685c31d9b57133a8711bfd5db92095d96d.

... and remove the XCB_USE_XLIB define.
This patch also removes the unnecessary checks for xcb-xlib in:
- qxcbglxintegration.cpp as this files is build _only_ when
xcb-xlib is present. From gl_integrations.pro:
qtConfig(xcb-xlib):qtConfig(opengl):!qtConfig(opengles2) {
SUBDIRS += xcb_glx
}
This also would have been the right place where to define
XCB_USE_XLIB, instead of unconditional line in xcb_glx.pro:
DEFINES += XCB_USE_GLX XCB_USE_XLIB
- qxcbnativeinterface.cpp as this cpp file does not use any
Xlib APIs directly, there is no need to include Xlib.h.

For the windows file system engine, we add an extra macro to use
library loading if configured to do so, but avoid it on WinRT, as
none of the symbols would be found.
We also QT_REQUIRE_CONFIG(library) in the library headers and
exclude the sources from the build if library loading is disabled.
This, in turn, makes it necessary to clean up some header inclusions.

This change introduces macros Q_XCB_REPLY and Q_XCB_REPLY_UNCHECKED

The following C++11 features are used:

QXcbCursor had a "cache" of cursor handles. Unfortunately, as QXcbCursor has its
lifetime tied to the screen, this cache grew unbounded whenever the cursor was
set: this could be witnessed worst when repeatedly setting the current cursor to
a different pixmap each time.
We fix this by keeping the cursor cache only for the "regular" shaped cursors
that are often shared between windows, working on the assumption that custom
cursors are generally specific only to a given window. This makes the lifetime
of the bitmap cursors much more clear: they are tied to that window, and when
the window is destroyed (or changes cursor), so too is the bitmap cursor
destroyed (if set).

This is the simplest of the patch series: Q_FOREACH took a
copy, so we do, too. Except we don't, since we're just
catching the return value that comes out of the function
(RVO). We can't feed the rvalues into range-for, because
they are non-const and would thus detach.

The simple mapping of dividing each position by the
devicePixelRatio does not work when screens have different
DPR. If the low-DPR screen above or to the left of the high-DPR
screen, the geometries will overlap in the Qt coordinate system.
This change introduces a new mapping where the origin of each screen
does not move. This mapping is not perfect: it will have gaps between
contiguous screens. However, it will keep non-overlapping screens
non-overlapping in the Qt coordinate system.
Since there is no longer a simple linear coordinate transform, we
have to add screen-dependent mapping functions, and distinguish between
local and non-local coordinates. A side benefit is that the code is
now easier to read, since we remove most manual coordinate transformation.
We also have to cache the screen of each window: since we send resize events
before screen change events, we cannot rely on QPlatformWindow::screen()
(which is set from the screen change event).

Remove all trailing whitespace from the following list of files:
*.cpp *.h *.conf *.qdoc *.pro *.pri *.mm *.rc *.pl *.qps *.xpm *.txt *README
excluding 3rdparty, test-data and auto generated code.
Note A): the only non 3rdparty c++-files that still
have trailing whitespace after this change are:
* src/corelib/codecs/cp949codetbl_p.h
* src/corelib/codecs/qjpunicode.cpp
* src/corelib/codecs/qbig5codec.cpp
* src/corelib/xml/qxmlstream_p.h
* src/tools/qdoc/qmlparser/qqmljsgrammar.cpp
* src/tools/uic/ui4.cpp
* tests/auto/other/qtokenautomaton/tokenizers/*
* tests/benchmarks/corelib/tools/qstring/data.cpp
* util/lexgen/tokenizer.cpp
Note B): in about 30 files some overlapping 'leading tab' and
'TAB character in non-leading whitespace' issues have been fixed
to make the sanity bot happy. Plus some general ws-fixes here
and there as asked for during review.

Currently, there is no concept of not having a cursor set on
a Window. Qt::ArrowCursor is always set instead. This causes
bugs when native child widgets are involved, for example setting
a cursor on the native widget's parent no longer works since
the child's Qt::ArrowCursor applies.
Introduce QWindowPrivate::hasCursor tracking whether a cursor
has been explicitly set and clear in QWindow::unsetCursor().
Handle 0 in QPlatformCursor::changeCursor() to mean
"unsetCursor()":
- Windows: Introduce default constructor for QWindowsWindowCursor
meaning "0". Search for applicable parent cursor in applyCursor.
- XCB: No big changes required, set XCB_CURSOR_NONE for no cursor.
- Other platforms: Assume Qt::ArrowCursor when cursor = 0 is
passed for now.

Mostly straightforward, the a11y changes might look a bit drastic, but the
base class QAccessibleTextWidget was already disabled in this case, so we
have to obviously take out its sub-classes as well.
