our binary packages come without many sql drivers, because they have
proprietary dependencies we cannot ship. not every user wants to build
all of qt from scratch, so it makes sense to make it possible to
"enrich" the existing installation by compiling just the drivers. to
enable this, the drivers' configuration must be independent. but note
that it's still not possible to configure a single driver - the entire
sqldrivers directory is configured at once.
a side effect of this is that the availability of the sql plugins
cannot be made known with publicFeatures any more, because there is no
associated module pri file to put that information into. that should be
made inconsequential by making qtHaveModule() work for plugins.

SQLite has been supporting named placeholders for some time now and the
code of the module is also written in that sense. The only thing that
currently fails is the parameter count check. If the named placeholder
is used several times then the parameter count will not match the
value count. This patch adds a second check in that case. This use
case is already tested by tst_qsqlquery.
[ChangeLog][QtSql][SQLite] Named placeholder can now be used.
If compiling Qt by hand and using system libraries, this feature
requires at least SQLite 3.3.11.

By default SQLite opens DB in Serialized mode, allowing connections to be used
from several threads simultaneously: https://www.sqlite.org/threadsafe.html
According to Qt documentation, database can only be used from one thread.
This change opens sqlite dabases in "Multi-thread" mode, so that one does not
pay for useless mutex locking for each DB access

Since MySQL now properly supports UTF-8 through utf8mb4 option, it
caused regression on systems which did not use UTF-8 encoding by default
which caused queries to fail as they were converted into system codec.
To fix this, simply use UTF-8 encoding for queries when MySQL supports
it.

Commit 88e043a8 introduced two bugs:
1. When constructing the WHERE clause, the closing ' around the owner
name was dropped.
2. When constructing QLatin1Strings for comparison with system owners,
a size of -1 was passed, with the comment "force strlen call". But,
unlike QString, QLatin1String does not invoke strlen(), but stores
the negative length unchanged, making the comparisons always fail.

From Qt 5.7 -> LGPL v2.1 isn't an option anymore, see
http://blog.qt.io/blog/2016/01/13/new-agreement-with-the-kde-free-qt-foundation/
Updated license headers to use new LGPL header instead of LGPL21 one
(in those files which will be under LGPL v3)

Qt copyrights are now in The Qt Company, so we could update the source
code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to
point to qt.io.
Outdated header.LGPL removed (use header.LGPL21 instead)
Old header.LGPL3 renamed to header.LGPL3-COMM to match actual licensing
combination. New header.LGPL-COMM taken in the use file which were
using old header.LGPL3 (src/plugins/platforms/android/extract.cpp)
Added new header.LGPL3 containing Commercial + LGPLv3 + GPLv2 license
combination

The "Fixed CE build of sqlite3" patch is preserved in this change,
which causes sqlite's own localtime implementation to be used for
wince. This is extended by #undef HAVE_LOCALTIME_S to override the
new assumption that localtime_s is available on wince and should be
used. Also, removed HAVE_LOCALTIME_S=0 since this must now be
undefined instead of 0.

Done automatically with clang-modernize on linux
(But does not add Q_DECL_OVERRIDE to the function that are marked
as inline because it a compilation error with MSVC2010)

By moving it to QSqlDriverPrivate we make it easier to check what
database is actually connected which is particularly useful for the
autotests.

The drivers were never public API. They were exposed by mistake in
public headers. What's more, they have #include'd a private header
(qsqlcachedresult_p.h) since at least Qt 4.5.1. That means no one used
those headers in Qt 4 (private headers weren't installed then) and
it's unlikely anyone did in 5.0.
