* wasm: add public API for local file accessMorten Johan Sørvig2019-02-071-0/+82
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The web sandbox restricts access to the local file system, which means Qt needs new public API to provide such access to applications. This adds a new static, asynchornous getOpenFileContent() function to QFileDialog, which will show a file dialog, read the file contents once a file has been selected, and finally call the user-provided callback with the selected file name and file data. auto fileReady = [](const QString &fileName, const QByteArray &fileContents) { // Process file } QFileDialog::getOpenFileContent("*.*", fileReady); This API can be expanded in at least two ways in the future: allow reading multiple files, and allow file streaming by returning a QOIDevice. | * Return a correct filter from QFileDialog::selectedMimeTypeFilter()Alexander Volkov2018-06-271-13/+30
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | QFileDialog::selectedMimeTypeFilter() returns either an empty filter in the case when a platform file dialog doesn't implement mime type filters, or initiallySelectedMimeTypeFilter() in the case of Qt's file dialog. In both cases the result is incorrect. Make it return a mime type filter corresponding to a selected name filter. As a result, tst_QFiledialog::setMimeTypeFilters() has to be fixed: QFileDialog::selectMimeTypeFilter() can't select a name filter for an invalid mime type, and "application/json" is not supported by RHEL 6.6, so replace it by "application/pdf". | * Fix native QFileDialog initial selection for remote URLsAlex Richardson2018-02-011-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When using QFileDialog::getOpenFileUrl() with dir set to e.g. "sftp://foo/bar.cpp" we call q->selectDirectoryUrl("sftp://foo") followed by q->selectFile("bar.cpp"). Inside QFileDialog::selectFile() we unconditionally convert "bar.cpp" to an absolute URL and then call d->selectFile_sys("$CWD/bar.cpp") This then calls platform integration that detects that an absolute URL is being passed to selectFile() and therefore overrides the initial directory. Initially reported as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374913 This is a regression that appeared some time between Qt 5.7.0 and 5.7.1. I have not had time to bisect this but the only commit that may have change behavior in that time range appears to be 007f92c6eef6191c48da0c44916591d48813ae62. The patch is to delete the symlink rather than actual target by doing the following: 1. In QFileDialog, if a directory being deleted is a resolved symlink, do not remove the directory. Instead, call QFileSystemModel to remove the model index. 2. In QFileSystemModel::remove(), use the full file path instead of the resolved file path for deletion. For a symlink, delete the symlink itself. The patch is for Windows and Linux. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch improves the handling of mime type filters in QFileDialog. The main change is in selectMimeTypeFilter(), which was just falling back unconditionally on selectNameFilter(). Instead, mime type filters should have an higher priority than name filters. This patch also adds a new selectedMimeTypeFilter() method, which is used in the unit test. Change-Id: Ice8bb08f5ff46e4a942d539f6001424eca878f74 Reviewed-by: David Faure <david.faure@kdab.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the application's Info.plist contains the key 'NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription', we know that we can safely link in qiosnsphotolibrarysupport without violating AppStore requirements. This is a simple feature that doesn't introduce additional qmake API for doing app deployment with optional iOS QPA plugins. [ChangeLog][iOS] Starting from iOS 10, Apple requires all apps that need access to photos to have the key 'NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription' in the Info.plist. Therefore, to get the same support in Qt (when, e.g., using a file dialog), the Info.plist assigned to QMAKE_INFO_PLIST will need this key as well.
