The benefit of keeping this code around was to inspire or inform
changes in the areas to take into account possibly missing features
in Qt 5, but at this point that benefit is questionable. We can
always use the history to learn about missing pieces if needed.

As with widgets, items that are disabled should not receive any input
events.
Similar to QGraphicsScene, which ignores disabled items when handling
mouse presses, the view should also ignore them when handling mouse
moves to update the cursor.
Since QGraphicsView only adjusts the cursors on mouse moves, reenabling
an item that is currently under the mouse will not change the cursor.
This is consistent with other changes of item attributes that would
position the item under the mouse (such as moving it). The overhead of
hit-testing items for every such attribute change would be too large,
and applications can generate a mouse move event if they really need
to adjust the cursor in all situations.
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QGraphicsView] Ignore disabled items when setting
the mouse cursor.

In Qt 5.0, delta() and orientation() were already marked obsolete,
but Widgets and tests have kept on depending on them all this time.
We now start using alternative API so they can really be deprecated.
All constructors except the newest one are also deprecated.
The plan is for all events from pointing devices to have
QPointF position() and globalPosition(), so we deprecate
the other position accessors.
[ChangeLog][QtGui] Obsolete constructors and accessors in QWheelEvent
now have proper deprecation macros. What is left is intended to be
compatible with planned changes in Qt 6.

Commit c5db8fc74 changed all instances of Q_WS_FOO to have the prefix
Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4 instead, to make it clearer when reading the code
that the code in question was a left-over from Qt4, when we used
Q_WS_ defines instead of Q_OS_ defines.
This worked well for cases of #ifdef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, but less so
for cases of #ifndef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, where the code was actually
unconditionally included.
To make this even clearer, the defines have been replaced by checks for
1 or 0, with a comment describing how the code used to look in Qt4. The
use of constants in the check also makes it easier for editors to parse
the condition and show visually that the code is defined out.

range-for
This needs to be handled a bit carefully, because Qt containers
will detach upon being iterated over using range-for.
In the cases of this patch, that cannot happen, because all
containers are local and marked as const (either by this patch
or before).
Separate patches will deal with other situations.
Range-for loops are much more efficient than foreach loops.
This patch shaves ~1.8KiB of text size off an optimized Linux
AMD64 GCC 4.9 build.

This needs to be handled a bit carefully, because Qt containers
will detach upon being iterated over using range-for.
In the cases of this patch, that trivially cannot happen, because
all containers are marked as const when being assigned the rvalues
previously found on the rhs of the Q_FOREACH. The new code thus
does exactly what the old code did: take a const copy, then iterate
over it.
Separate patches will deal with other situations.
Range-for loops are much more efficient than foreach loops.
This patch shaves almost 4K of text size off an optimized Linux

By making the destructor (usually the first non-inline, non-pure,
virtual function, and therefore the trigger for most compilers to
emit the vtable and type_info structures for the class in that TU)
out-of-line, vtables and, more importantly, type_info structures for
the class are pinned to a single TU. This prevents false negative
dynamic_cast and catch evaluation.
In this first batch, we de-inline destructors of exported private
classes.
Since they are already exported, users of these classes are unaffected
by the change, and since it's private API, we don't need to avoid
adding code to the out-of-line destructor until Qt 6.

We still have a bunch of Q_WS_ ifdefs in our code, which are easy to
mistake for Q_OS_ ifdefs when quickly scanning the code. By renaming
the ifdefs we make it clear that the code in question is dead.
In incremental follow-ups, we can then selectively either remove, or
port, the pieces that are dead code.

QOpenGLWidget is now public.
In addition Qt::WA_AlwaysStackOnTop is introduced to support the
special case of semi-transparent QOpenGLWidget or QQuickWidget on
top of regular widgets.
hellogl_es2 becomes the qopenglwidget example. This example performs
painting both via QPainter and native GL commands and has the OpenGL
widget combined with other, normal widgets.
The widget stack receives some changes when it comes to renderToTexture
widgets like QQuickWidget and QOpenGLWidget. Calling update() will now
result in a paint event, which is essential for QOpenGLWidget since we
want it to behave like a regular widget. The dirty region handling is
extended specially for such widgets due to performance reasons.
(an OpenGL content update must not result in any backingstore painting,
and is thus handled as a different kind of dirtiness)
[ChangeLog] Added QOpenGLWidget. This widget serves as a replacement for QGLWidget.

Do the same as in mousePressEvent.
Otherwise it is not possible to handle the event
in one of the graphics views parents.

When QGraphicsView has sceneInteractionAllowed == false (e.g
when dragMode == QGraphicsView::ScrollHandDrag), all touch
events are accepted. This is wrong, and will stop mouse synthesising
from happening on touch platforms. This in turn will make
ScrollHandDrag not work (since no mouse events will come through).
This patch will call QEvent::ignore() if the touch event isn't send
to the scene, which will cause a mouse event to be synthesised.
Note that according to http://doc.qt.digia.com/qq/qq11-events.html
the correct approach would probably be to just return 'false', rather
than calling QEvent::ignore(). But this logic is not followed
consistently elsewhere (e.g in QApplication::notify), so I choose
to follow what the code actually expects for this bugfix.

The rubberBandRect function is nice to have, but this patch
makes it easier to track the rubber band by emiting a signal
on change.
That makes it easier (and less clumsy/hacky) to show information
related to the rubber band.

In many situations it is handy to know the rubberband rect.
There are many situations where we want to show something
related to the rubberband.
Regardless how that is done the rubberband area is needed.
(Not having this is a flaw that can force people to do make
a customized rubberband just to get this information)

This patch changes QGraphicsViewPrivate::updateRubberBand to return
at once in case some of the first conditions (which were needed to
do something with the rubberband) are not true.
The indentation after these ifs is fixed, and there are a few style
fixes, but beside the first 2 ifs, there are only white-space
and new-line changes.

updateRubberBand is only called from mouseMoveEvent.
The event is not changed. At the end of the event
we call d->mouseMoveEventHandler which calls
storeMouseEvent. There is no need to call it twice.
Beside that this patch also changes the argument
from QMouseEvent* to const QMouseEvent*. The only
reason it needed to be const was the call to
storeMouseEvent.
