... from widget class descriptions.
Use one screenshot from Windows instead.
The styles change and the screenshots become outdated very fast, so
it is easier to update just one screenshot now and then. The styles
can still be seen in the style gallery topics.
The image files will be removed in a follow-up commit after all
references to them have been removed.

This reverts commit a4c25c020554527aa9ff9b533afabffef46be131.
The API is too limited in scope, and a good name is hard to find, as
evidenced in the API review discussion preceding Qt 5.9 beta.
This API will hopefully return as something like setItemAlignment().
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QListView] EDIT: REMOVE: Added expandingListItems property.

This property allows to change the default behavior in
which list items occupy the entire width of the column.
Setting it to false will reduce their widths to the
minimum values, thus allowing to have intermediate free
space. Then the user will be able to begin selections
by mouse from this space.

Some consumers of wheel events need to know if the
scrolling direction is inverted in order to provide
consistent behavior.
For example, the scrolling direction of a horizontal
slider should not change when the user toggles the
"natural scrolling" setting on OS X. In this case
the inverted bit will change state and the slider
can compensate.
This change adds a bit to QWheelEvent and sets it
on OS X.

This needs to be handled a bit carefully, because Qt containers
will detach upon being iteratoed over using range-for.
In the cases of this patch, that cannot happen, because all
containers are marked as const (either by this patch or before).
Separate patches will deal with other situations.
Apart from being more readable, range-for loops are also the
most efficient for loop.
This patch shaves almost 2K of text size off an optimized Linux
AMD64 GCC 4.9 build.

The documentation says that we scroll one pixel, but changing the
behavior in 934f06220391eb0e0ebf66a2eb037f48adb4c43c to do that
was not well received.
People were relying on the undocumented behavior - and the new behavior
was considered to be a regression. (Nobody called setSingleStep since
Qt in many cases provide a reasonable singleStep - which implied that their
programs scrolled with 1 pixel which was quite slow). Furthermore getting
the old behavior (auto set of single step) was nearly impossible.
However the revert (done in 0e69230d02813f0b7a050645fb7e443bd504ab6a)
gets us back to QScrollbar::setSingleStep not working in pixel scroll mode
(even without it being documented - but we should also have a working API
rather than documenting that it is not working)
The previous approach was directly prevented Qt from changing
single step (on e.g resize) at all. This patch only prevents Qt from
changing when a user explicitly has called the function
QScrollBar::setSingleStep (in pixel scroll mode).
That is we expect that calls to setSingleStep means that the user actually
wants to set the singleStep and doesn't want Qt to control that value.
Furthermore it is possible to switch back to the automatically adjusted
singlestep with QScrollBar::setSingleStep(-1).
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QAbstractItemView] QTBUG-7232 - In ItemViews
when scrollMode is set to scrollPerPixel, it is now possible to
change the single step. Qt will automatically adjust the single step
until setSingleStep is called. When setSingleStep is called it will
however respect the set and stop doing automatic changes of the value.
Calling setSingleStep(-1) will switch mode back to automatic adjust.

If, after checking a condition, we issue a qWarning(),
by definition that check is unlikely to be true.
Tell the compiler so it can move the error handling
code out of the normal code path to increase the
effective icache size.
This change contains the changes to the accessible/,
effects/, kernel/, styles/ and itemviews/ subdirs.
Moved conditional code around where possible so that
we could always use Q_UNLIKELY, instead of having to
revert to Q_LIKELY here and there.
In QWidgetPrivate::setWindowModified_helper(), as a
drive-by, I swapped the evaluation order of an
&&-expression (newly wrapped in Q_UNLIKELY) to be
more readable and more efficient (cheaper check
first) at the same time.
In qDraw* (qdrawutil.cpp), simplified boolean
expressions (sometimes by skipping re-checking
conditions already checked in a previous guard clause).

This reverts commit 934f06220391eb0e0ebf66a2eb037f48adb4c43c.
The patch needs to be modified a bit. Many users considers
not having the old feature as a big regression.
The feature needs to be improved with a variable that is
only set when the user uses setSingleStep.

Currently a QListView with wordwrapping activated will wrap the text
only to the width of the icon even if the grid size is bigger. With this
patch the option rect is now updated to match the grid size if valid
and the style uses it to determine the correct size when wrapping
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QTBUG-4714] Use the grid size for wordwrapping
when available in icon mode

Since users were not supposed to use this feature at all, just
live with the BC break, but document it. In order to prevent possible
problems in the future, introduce dummy overrides in QAbstractItemView
and QListView as well. Also, fix the visibility of the overrides
(it's protected, not public).

The code generating the QStyleOptionViewItem has been moved back to the
public implementation and the private QAbstractItemView::viewOptions
calling it (like the Qt 4 implementation does). This makes the item
views behave properly again e.g. QListView drag & drop in Icon mode
gets the correct options to draw the moving items

Currently, when dragging a QListView item in icon mode, only the
item is moved and once out of the view port, the visual feedback is
lost. This patch updates the QDrag pixmap to have a persistent view of
what is moved.

Qt 5 which had already been branched at that point of time.
