* Remove QVariant(int type, void *data, ...) constructorLars Knoll2020-08-151-3/+3
| | | | | | | | It was marked internal anyway. Use the constructor taking a QMetaType instead. Change-Id: I15b9cd0911aac063a0f0fe0352fa2c84b7f7c691 Reviewed-by: Lars Knoll <lars.knoll@qt.io>
* QTestlib: Enable comparing QList against initializer lists/arraysFriedemann Kleint2020-07-211-3/+45
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It is unnecessary to create a QList container just for comparison. Split out helpers for comparing sequence sizes and sequences from qCompare(QList) and add a template for an array with a non-type template parameter for the size. One can then write something like: const int expected[] = {10, 12,...}; QCOMPARE(QFontDatabase.pointSizes(...), expected) Unfortunately, any commas in such an array will be misread by macro expansion as macro argument separators, so any expected array with more than one entry needs an extra macro expanding __VA_ARGS__. * Add testlib selftest for QStringList comparison.Jason McDonald2011-12-141-1/+77
| | | | | | | | | | The (disabled) alive selftest contained a test for the QStringList specialization of the QTest::qCompare template. This test is unrelated to the rest of the alive selftest, so move it to the cmptest selftest, where QCOMPARE is tested. * Make usage of internal QVariant space.Jędrzej Nowacki2011-11-091-4/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Each QVariant instance has internal storage which may be used for well-know basic types. This patch changes the behavior by delegating type dependent operation to QMetaType class which knows more types than QVariant itself. The patch significantly reduce amount of code in QVariant implementation. There are few side effects of this patch: - better performance: * for Core types when using Gui (QGuiVariant is able to construct Core types) * for small custom types (QVariant::Private::Data is used for all types that has size small enough) - comparing two QVariants can give different result for small custom types (binary comparison instead of pointer comparison) Change-Id: Ic17fa500d6a882110bfba896fd456c8e6c7a63a9 Reviewed-by: Olivier Goffart <ogoffart@woboq.com>
* all remaining tests: eliminated usage of qttest_p4.prfRohan McGovern2011-10-251-6/+1
| | | | | | | | | qttest_p4.prf was added as a convenience for Qt's own autotests in Qt4. It enables various crufty undocumented magic, of dubious value. Stop using it, and explicitly enable the things from it which we want. Change-Id: I02fe27b2c1800f929250fa8694ca2976c9661a12 Reviewed-by: Jason McDonald <jason.mcdonald@nokia.com>
