* Adapt to QNetworkRequest changeFawzi Mohamed2020-08-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In d12afeff4097dd78f1311511e0c8f74e1a810d47 the default for redirection handling was changed from manual to NoLessSafeRedirectPolicy. This makes the redirection handling asynchronous, leading to a failure in tst_qqmlxmlhttprequest::redirects. In it the request is not finished after component.completeCreate(). Thus the property dataOK is read before being set to true, and the test fails. This change reestablishes the ManualRedirectPolicy, giving the old behavior, and fixes a failure blocking CI. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This class is not a private detail of QQmlContext. And it is incredibly hard to see who owns what in there. Let's add some civilization ... We enforce refcounting for QQmlContextData across the code base, with two exceptions: 1. QQmlContextPrivate may or may not own its QQmlContextData. 2. We may request a QQmlContextData owned by its parent QQmlContextData. For these two cases we keep flags in QQmlContextData and when the respective field (m_parent or m_publicContext) is reset, we release() once. Furthermore, QQmlContextData and QQmlGuardedContextData are moved to their own files, in order to de-spaghettify qqmlcontext_p.h and qqmlcontext.cpp. When the QQmlEngine is deleted, any QQmlComponents drop their object creators now, in order to release any context data held by those. Before, the context data would be deleted, but the object creators would retain the dangling pointer. [ChangeLog][QML][Important Behavior Changes] QQmlContext::baseUrl() does what the documentation says now: It prefers explicitly set baseUrls over compilation unit URLs. Only if no baseUrl is set, the CU's URL is returned. It used to prefer the CU's URL. Change-Id: Ieeb5dcb07b45d891526191321386d5443b8f5738 Reviewed-by: Fabian Kosmale <fabian.kosmale@qt.io>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ExecutionEngine::callingQmlContext() in some cases returns a null pointer. According to ISO/IEC 14882 §9.3.1/1 "If a nonstatic member function of a class X is called for an object that is not of type X, or of a type derived from X, the behavior is undefined". Thus, invoking a QQmlContextData::resolvedUrl() member function on a null instance results in undefined behavior, and leads to a crash in some cases. ExecutionEngine::qmlEngine() in some cases returns a null pointer. The QQmlEnginePrivate::get() method must return a pointer to a QQmlEngine private internal class. Call QQmlEnginePrivate::get() with passed null pointer leads to application crash. If the QQmlEngine pointer is null, the QQmlEnginePrivate pointer should also be null. Thus, if the pointer to QQmlEngine is null pointer, the null pointer to the private class should be passed to the QQmlEnginePrivate::warning(). * Fix XMLHttpRequest when used with QQmlEngine::evaluateSimon Hausmann2018-04-091-30/+32
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Our XHR implementation insists on a valid QQmlContext when processing callbacks. This is to protect against callbacks being triggered after dynamic QML contexts such as delegates have been destroyed. Unfortunately those checks are too strict and make it impossible to use XHR from within plain JS scripts (where v4->callingQmlContext() will return a null pointer). Dispatching the callbacks in functions that are directly called from QML/JS is safe and something we can do unconditionally. This applies to the callbacks triggered from abort() and open() for example. When we're called from QNetworkAccessManager we should enforce the continued existence of a QML context only if it was present at send() time. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When closures created inside QML components are called after the surrounding component (and consequently QML context) has been destroyed, we are in a somewhat limited environment. Initially we would just crash as the calling QML context is not valid anymore. We can alleviate that by introducing reference counting on the context and letting the QML context wrapper keep a strong reference. This avoids the crashes and also ensures that at least imports continue to be accessible within these contexts (as the singleton test case demonstrates). | * | QQmlXMLHttpRequest: support sending ArrayBuffer dataAlberto Mardegan2017-06-261-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The XMLHttpRequest.send() method should be able to send arbitrary binary data, and not just UTF-8 text: with this change we first attempt to use the parameter to the send() method as an ArrayBuffer, and fall back to a QString if that fails. [ChangeLog][QtQml] Allow sending binary data, encoded as ArrayBuffer objects, via XMLHttpRequest's send() method.
