From now on we prefer nullptr instead of 0 to clarify cases where
we are assigning or testing a pointer rather than a numeric zero.
Also, replaced cases where 0 was passed as Qt::KeyboardModifiers
with Qt::NoModifier (clang-tidy replaced them with nullptr, which
waas wrong, so it was just as well to make the tests more readable
rather than to revert those lines).

specify incubation mode
The current implementation would pass a boolean to signal if asynchronous
or synchronous incubation should be used to create an item. The problem with this approach
is that passing 'synchronous" would translate to QQmlIncubation::AsynchronousIfNested
later down the chain. This meant that even if the caller requested synchronous incubation, it
could end up with asynchronous incubation anyway, e.g if an async parent incubator was active at
the time of the call. And this can easily come as an unhandled supprise for the caller, and as
such, cause unforseen bugs.
This patch is a first of a set of patches that is done to fix the bug reported in the task below.
It will not change any behavior, it is written to preserve the logic exactly as it were, just
as a preparation for subsequent patches. It makes it explicit at the call location what
incubation mode will be used, and especially make it clear whenever the AsynchronousIfNested
flag is in play.

In complicated cases where the model moves rows around while
the view is running slow (perhaps during high CPU load),
there were cases when Repeater would call
movedItem->stackBefore(deleteableItem), but deleteable items
can be null, so there was often an error
QQuickItem::stackBefore: Cannot stack before 0x0, which must be a sibling
and occasionally a crash. Now we check both the callee and the
parameter to stackBefore to make sure neither of them are null.

Now that qmlInfo actually reports info messages, we want to change
existing callers to use warning-level messages to preserve the original
message level.
This was done through:
perl -p -i -e "s/qmlInfo\(/qmlWarning\(/" **/*.{cpp,h,qdoc}
.. with a little care taken to only add the hunks that should be changed.

Historically, Repeaters were avoided by their parent positioners by only
accepting items with a width *and* height greater than zero. (Repeater is
an item where both width and height defaults to zero).
Later, QQuickItemPrivate::isTransparentForPositioner() were added to
fix similar problems with item.layer and item.layer.effect (change
da15ea0f3b5805db657f13060c21efa78f10cde2)
Since isTransparentForPositioner is now available, we can therefore mark
mark QQuickRepeater also as transparent for positioners.
This also enables Qt Quick Layouts to have a much better heuristic on
which items should be ignored or not.
AFAICS, this will only break if people actually resized their repeaters
(and they thus got included in their parent positioners). I cannot see why
anybody would have wanted this behavior (and depend on it). Therefore,
there is a risk of regression, but I doubt that this is behavior that
people would expect not to break.
[ChangeLog][QtQuick][Repeater] Positioners will now always ignore
Repeaters. Previously, Repeaters were ignored by Positioners when their
width or height were 0.

JS arrays are now passed as a QJSValue. Re-assigning the

This change restores the old behavior it had before, when

This is needed for proper support of non-GUI instantiators in QtQml.
Only private C++ classes are affected. Aside from name changes, model
classes now operate on QObjects instead of QQuickItems, leading to minor
changes in the implementation of QtQuick classes using them.
The old QML type names will still be registered in the QtQuick import
for the forseeable future, but pointing to the new classes. The new QML
types will be added in a second commit.
Classes Affected:
QQuickVisualDataGroup -> QQmlDataGroup
QQuickVisualDataModel -> QQmlDelegateModel
QQuickVisualItemModel -> QQmlObjectModel
QQuickVisualModel -> QQmlInstanceModel
QQuickChangeSet -> QQmlChangeSet
QQuickListAccessor -> QQmlListAccessor
QQuickListCompositor -> QQmlListCompositor
QQuickPackage -> QQuickPackage (just moved for now)

The documentation currently has no clear separation between Qt QML
and Qt Quick. With recent commits like:
6c8378eaf1edbbefe6aaa3672b0127816a004fd7
and
ab1e510121c8a679fdaca12ccd30e0f7ac12a26b
the separation between the language definition and implementation,
provided by Qt QML, and the standard library for the QML language,
provided by Qt Quick, is clear.
This commit creates a new documentation structure that is more
navigable and separates concepts into logical categories, with
clear separation between QtQML and QtQuick. It also provides a more
generic QML Application Developer Resources page which contains links
to information for QML application developers.

qtqml.qdocconf and qtquick.qdocconf now refer to the correct
snippets and source directories.
Snippet paths in .qdoc and .cpp files have been updated to refer to
the new shortened path references, e.g. \snippet qml/file.cpp instead of
\snippet doc/src/snippets/qml/file.cpp.
This also deletes snippets from src/qml/doc/snippets that belonged under
src/quick/doc/snippets (and were already duplicated there anyway) and
restores some snippet files that shouldn't have been deleted.
Also fixes some inline snippets to use \code .. \endcode instead of
\qml .. \endqml as they contained javascript or partial QML
snippets that were causing parsing errors from qdoc.
There are still snippet errors arising from qmlintro.qdoc as the
qmlintro snippets directory that it refers to cannot be located.
There are also two references to a removed snippet identifier in
examples/qml/cppextensions/plugins/plugin.cpp that need to be fixed
in conjunction with the related docs in a later commit as the relevant
code has changed and the docs are now invalid.

This change moves the QtQuick 2 types and C++ API (including
SceneGraph) to a new module (AKA library), QtQuick.
99% of this change is moving files from src/declarative to
src/quick, and from tests/auto/declarative to
tests/auto/qtquick2.
The loading of QtQuick 2 ("import QtQuick 2.0") is now delegated to
a plugin, src/imports/qtquick2, just like it's done for QtQuick 1.
All tools, examples, and tests that use QtQuick C++ API have gotten
"QT += quick" or "QT += quick-private" added to their .pro file.
A few additional internal QtDeclarative classes had to be exported
(via Q_DECLARATIVE_PRIVATE_EXPORT) since they're needed by the
QtQuick 2 implementation.
The old header locations (e.g. QtDeclarative/qquickitem.h) will
still be supported for some time, but will produce compile-time
warnings. (To avoid the QtQuick implementation using the
compatibility headers (since QtDeclarative's includepath comes
first), a few include statements were modified, e.g. from
"#include <qsgnode.h>" to "#include <QtQuick/qsgnode.h>".)
There's a change in qtbase that automatically adds QtQuick to the
module list if QtDeclarative is used. Together with the compatibility
headers, this should help reduce the migration pain for existing
projects.
In theory, simply getting an existing QtDeclarative-based project
to compile and link shouldn't require any changes for now -- but
porting to the new scheme is of course recommended, and will
eventually become mandatory.
