| | | | | | | | | | | | | From now on we prefer nullptr instead of 0 to clarify cases where we are assigning or testing a pointer rather than a numeric zero. Also, replaced cases where 0 was passed as Qt::KeyboardModifiers with Qt::NoModifier (clang-tidy replaced them with nullptr, which waas wrong, so it was just as well to make the tests more readable rather than to revert those lines). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | By forcing all debug services to register before the thread starts we can get rid of the complicated thread synchronization and have a more natural API for the services. We can also better enforce the thread situation when registering services in QQmlDebugServer now. QQmlProfilerService should not moveToThread() in its constructor as the thread has not been started, yet. The thread affinity of QQmlProfilerService doesn't make any difference anyway, as all relevant methods are protected by mutexes and it doesn't have any slots. Using a TCP debug server comes with a number of drawbacks. It has a larger overhead than other connection types, the application has to be able to access the network and there has to be an open port we can find somehow.
