The entry point from the parsing perspective into modules is not
QV4::Script but QV4::ExecutionEngine::compileModule.
For convenience, the ESModule AST node gets a body, which is the
statement list connected between the ModuleItemList items that are not
import/export declarations.
The QV4::Module allocates a call context where the exported variables
are stored as named locals. This will also become the module namespace
object.
The imports in turn is an array of value pointers that point into the
locals array of the context of the imported modules.
The default module loading in ExecutionEngine assumes the accessibility
of module urls via QFile (so local file system or resource). This is
what qmljs also uses and QJSEngine as well via public API in the future.
The test runner compiles the modules manually and injects them, because
they need to be compiled together with the test harness code.
The QML type loader will the mechanism for injection in the future for
module imports from .qml files.

Currently we only use the runtimeStrings offset in JIT generated code,
so move that into a standard layout base class and use that instead.

The offset of the runtimeStrings array differed between a V4_BOOTSTRAP build
and the regular library build. This is an intermediate fix until QTBUG-58666
is fixed properly.

exceptions, see

Qt copyrights are now in The Qt Company, so we could update the source
code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to
point to qt.io.

This upstreams parts of Qt Creator's tst_offset test to serve as
an early warning system by testing private implementation details
that are used in Qt Creator's data structure "pretty printing"
facility and "native mixed" QML-and-C++ debugging.
While the tested implementation details can be changed without
breaking binary or source compatibility, downstream tools like
Qt Creator depend on them.
If this test breaks, you are kindly asked to coordinate with the
downstream stakeholders to avoid tool breakage.
