* Revert "qtwebkit: remove"Martin Jansa2020-02-031-0/+89
| | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit a35403dcf6b75ee7355108cab3e466009003b1a7. But keep the dependency from packagegroup-qt5-toolchain-target, qt5-creator removed as most people won't really need this. Andreas and meta-qt5-extra still need qtwebkit as reported here: https://github.com/meta-qt5/meta-qt5/pull/273#issuecomment-578536852 Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>

* qtwebkit: do not skip build - use cmake as build systemAndreas Müller2018-06-051-28/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | log.do_configure says: | The WebKit build was disabled for the following reasons: | * cross-compilation of QtWebKit with qmake is not supported yet | * Missing cmake from PATH | * Using cmake version , but at least cmake 2.8.12 is required to build QtWebKit. and build was finished without errors (but surprisingly fast). Looking into qtwebkit, it seems they have changed to cmake build system and Webkit.pro is just a wrapper for preparing and running cmake. For the transition the packageconfigs were translated as close as possible. 'libxcomposite' and 'libxrender' were merged to 'x11' - there is only one option 'ENABLE_X11_TARGET' available for both. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The linux-oe-g++ mkspec is changed to use $$(...) operator to obtain the contents of an environment value when qmake is run instead of when Makefile is processed. All OE_QMAKE_xxx variables need to be exported for qmake to find them. configure's setBootstrapVariable function needs to change $$(..) to normal $(...) operator to work with qmake's Makefile. qt.conf generation for qtbase recipes is not needed, as configure will generate its own version based on configure arguments. Skip running qmake, since configure is now automatically invoked when it's run in qtbase's root folder. Update PACKAGECONFIGs for qtbase to match current configure options. The new Qt configuration system [1] can be used with a new variable EXTRA_QMAKEVARS_CONFIGURE, which takes both command line and feature arguments. Merge the two qtwayland recipes to one that supports all three targets (target, native, nativesdk) without need for additional patch. Recipes for new Qt modules: QtSCXML, QtNetworkAuth, QtGamepad. * qtscript/qtwebkit: disable thumb for armv4 and armv5 only to fix segfault on ↵Andreas Müller2016-01-141-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | armv7 We have a simple application containing a QWebView which segfaulted during loading a page on a CortexA9 (armv7 thumb2). After enabling debug information for qtwebkit and remote debug session the point of segfault was detected in Source/JavaScriptCore/llint/LowLevelInterpreter.asm:1082 callSlowPath(_llint_slow_path_new_func_exp) Further digging around lead to similar source in: * qtwebkit: Source/JavaScriptCore/assembler/ARMv7Assembler.h * qtscript: src/3rdparty/javascriptcore/JavaScriptCore/assembler/ARMv7Assembler.h In these files a class ARMThumbImmediate is declared and used in many places. This lead me to the suspicion that compiligng for armv7 expects thumb support. The following tests were performed: * our application is working fine again * qtscript and qtwebkit were build with 'ARM_INSTRUCTION_SET = "thumb"' => TUNE_FEATURES = "arm armv5 thumb dsp" for qemuarm without issues This is a partial/rebased revert of: commit 932b32c1c9e9a3ac833c82ff9273683345056ec7 Author: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com> Date: Wed Apr 22 15:33:01 2015 +0200 qtscript,qtwebking: disable thumb * qemuarm builds fail when thumb is enabled Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Andreas Müller <schnitzeltony@googlemail.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com>
