Clang's `-Wimplicit-fallthrough` warnings are a little stricter than
gcc's interpretation:
switch (i) {
case 0:
foo();
case 4:
break;
}
While gcc accepts the implicit fallthrough, if the following statement
is a trivial `break`, clang will warn about it.

The unplug() and startDrag() functions of QMainWindowLayout and
QDockWidget used a boolean argument specifying whether a single dock
widget or a group of dock widgets should be unplugged. The argument
defaulted to true.
That has lead to inconsistent unplug operations, broken item_lists and
crashes, especially when the methods were called without an argument.
To improve code readability, replace bool trap with a meaningful
enum. Remove default arguments, in order to force explicit calls.
This patch does not change behavior, it is just carved out to
facilitate reviews.

Surprisingly, this wasn't mentioned in the detailed description at all.
Users would need to click on the link for the example in the "See also"
section and then read through it to find any mention of how tool bars
are created.

On Wayland we can't know where windows are in relation to
each other so the whole mechanism was broken, toolbars
were unmovable once undocked and could be blindly redocked.
Dockwidgets had native toolbars to move them around but could
not be redocked.
This introduces an alternative code path that uses a platform
drag with a special mimetype that enables the platform to
issue a combined drag and window move using the relevant protocol.
Should the protocol not be available this doesn't make things
actively worse as it will be similar broken as before.

The delta (drag distance) for dragging a tool button with in a tool
bar was calculated by subtracting the global mouse press position from
the drag event's global position.
This has lead to a miscalculation when dragging the button across
screens with different resolutions. The new relative position within
the tool bar became negative, which eventually has lead to resizing of
other tool buttons in the same tool bar.
This patch calculates the delta based on native pixels, which ensures
a correct value in all cases. It falls back to the existing calculation
if no window handle can be established from the tool bar.

They're now in QWidget itself. Remove them from the API, but not the
ABI.
The QToolBar case is straight-forward. QMenu is a bit more complicated:
Since QT_CONFIG(shortcut) builds changed the signature of an existing
function instead of adding/removing an overload, we have to deal with
two cases: In a QT_CONFIG(shortcut) build, these overloads that take a
trailing QKeySequence parameter have been deprecated and therefore
cannot be removed. In a !QT_CONFIG(shortcut) build, the same functions
are 1:1 copies of QWidget functions and can be removed (from the API).
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QMenu/QToolBar] The addAction() functions have
been moved down into QWidget.

Duplicating the number of classes is a high price to pay to be able to
have some QAction functionality behave differently, or be only available
in widgets applications.
Instead, declare the entire API in QtGui in QAction* classes, and
delegate the implementation of QtWidgets specific functionality to
the private. The creation of the private is then delegated to the
Q(Gui)ApplicationPrivate instance through a virtual factory function.
Change some public APIs that are primarily useful for specialized tools
such as Designer to operate on QObject* rather than QWidget*. APIs that
depend on QtWidgets types have been turned into inline template
functions, so that they are instantiated only at the caller side, where
we can expect the respective types to be fully defined. This way, we
only need to forward declare a few classes in the header, and don't
need to generate any additional code for e.g. language bindings.

Simply moving QAction to QtGui was not deemed possible since
it operates on a set of controls of some kind. The approach to
extract a base class was taken instead, named QGuiAction
following the QGuiApplication scheme. QAction remains in
widgets, but changes base class.
For QActionGroup, the functions addAction(text/icon), which
create an action, cannot be implemented in QtGui, hence a base
class is needed, too (unless they are deprecated and removed).
- Extract base classes providing functionality not based on
QtWidgets, using virtuals in QGuiActionPrivate to provide
customization points
- Change QActionEvent to take QGuiAction, removing
the need to forward declare QAction in QtGui
[ChangeLog][QtGui] Added QGuiAction(Group) and made the equivalent
existing classes in Qt Widgets derive from them. This provides
basic functionality for implementing actions in QML.

This update eliminates ALL parsing errors when clang parses the
Qt headers to build the precompiled header qdoc needs. These errors
are often cases where an old use of Q_QDOC no longer works because
clang sees the enclosed fake declarations as erroneous.
In a few cases, clang reported errors because two dummy function
declartations under the Q_CLANG_QDOC guard were indistinguishable,
so one of them was removed, and the documentation was patched
accordingly.
Using the macro Q_DECLARE_INTERFACE(...) causes clang to report errors
because the class parametewr is abstract. These uses of the macro are
not needed, so they are removed with #ifndef Q_CLANG_QDOC.
Some declarations of default GL types that had been provided for qdoc
were no longer needed, so they are removed.
Now there are some member function signatures in QDBusPendingReply
and QDBusPendingCall that have very long template clauses and qualifiers
in their signatures. These unwieldy signatures will be unnecessary in the
documentation and will look bad there, but for now they are correct. The
ultimate solution will be to add a metacommand to qdoc, something like
\simplify-signature to tell qdoc to generate the documentation for these
member functions without the long template caluses and qualifiers.

The private feature was only used by QToolBar to solve QTBUG-33082, but
the solution doesn't work, and complicates the macOS platform plugin
quite a bit.
A better solution is likely to use Core Animation layers, which is a
direction we're going in anyways. To make it easier to modernize the
macOS platform plugin, including moving to using layers, we remove the
child NSWindows codepaths for now.

Commit c5db8fc74 changed all instances of Q_WS_FOO to have the prefix
Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4 instead, to make it clearer when reading the code
that the code in question was a left-over from Qt4, when we used
Q_WS_ defines instead of Q_OS_ defines.
This worked well for cases of #ifdef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, but less so
for cases of #ifndef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, where the code was actually
unconditionally included.
To make this even clearer, the defines have been replaced by checks for
1 or 0, with a comment describing how the code used to look in Qt4. The
use of constants in the check also makes it easier for editors to parse
the condition and show visually that the code is defined out.
