Their use of QtNetwork is already covered by the HTTP example.
While showcasing that QNAM easily deals with multiple simultaneous
requests, waiting until finished() is emitted to write anything is not
exactly idiomatic.
And managing your own queue to only have one request running at a time
is a weird example for an asynchronous framework.
In this regard, having an example for a complete download manager
(with a GUI) would be interesting, but may ultimately be very
time-consuming to make for limited gain.

In the effort of repairing broken links as per QTBUG-96127,
a series of RFC links referring to `tools.ietf.org/html/*` were modified
to point to the new address that the site redirected to.
To simplify executing a similar task and to diminish the duplication of
manually inserted urls, the already existing `rfc.qdoc` file, containing
`\externalpage` commands directing to RFC locations, was enhanced with
links to all RFCs that were mentioned in the current documentation, so
as to aggregate this common category of links.
All links pointing to a `ietf` domain inside QDoc documentation blocks
were then changed to use the newly provided external-references.

The content in the porting guides are closer to a changelog than
a porting guide. At this point, it is easier for maintainers and
contributors to write in a changelog than a guide. This change
should help with readability and is closer to the usage of
"Changes" in documentation.

While we initially wanted to just disable the functionality the way it
is currently built forces people to do a full build of Qt just to enable
it. Instead of doing this half-measure let's just remove the code
completely from QtBase and rather prepare QtNetwork to handle being a
plugin that can be compiled at any time.

From Qt 5.12.5 and 5.13.0 on we ship OpenSSL 1.1.x libraries with Qt
through the binary installers, as Qt is a general purpose toolkit and
as such not subject to import/export restrictions.
However, application developers still have to take care of the
relevant requirements and compliance before distributing OpenSSL.

Some Linux distributions patch OpenSSL's soname, making builds
on such distributions not deployable elsewhere. The problem is that
the code loading OpenSSL symbols would attempt to use the soname
of the build machine, and therefore not finding the OpenSSL
libraries on the deploy system.
The binary builds of Qt for Linux are affected by this problem,
as they build under RHEL7.4 which changes to soname of OpenSSL to
a non-standard string. This makes the binary builds not pick up
OpenSSL 1.0 from the machine where the build gets installed on.
Given that in the pre-1.1 versions only the 1.0 series is supported,
bump the minimum requirement of Qt to that. The 1.0.x releases
(up to 1.0.2, at the time of this writing) have kept binary
compatibility, and advertise a soname of "1.0.0", which is used
by most distributions.
So, if loading of OpenSSL with the build-time soname fails,
try to load them with the "1.0.0" hardcoded soname.
[ChangeLog][QtNetwork][SSL] OpenSSL >= 1.0 is now required to build
Qt with OpenSSL support.
