QFlags::setFlag is most useful to replace explicit constructs like
if (condition) {
someFlags |= TheConditionFlag;
} else {
someFlags &= ~TheConditionFlag;
}
with
someFlags.setFlag(TheConditionFlag, condition);

* Transfer propertiesUpdated and updated signals from submenus to parent
menus. Without this, the adaptor only receives this signal from top-level
menu items, and doesn't receive it from items of submenus. Connect to
these signals when a menu item is added or synced, and disconnect when it
is removed.
* Make QDBusPlatformMenus use IDs of items containing them, not their own
IDs (own IDs do not make any sense since they are not exported over D-Bus).
* Store toplevel menus per-adaptor, to make it possible to export multiple
menus (for example a menubar and a tray icon menu).
* Adjust the QDBusMenuLayoutItem::populate methods to always get the menu
via its containing item and to populate the menus recursively.
* Map D-Bus menu AboutToShow method to platform menu aboutToShow method,
and map hovered and closed events to hovered and aboutToHide signals.
(QTBUG-46293)
* Always set the visible property on item. Otherwise, when an item becomes
visible, the D-Bus menu still thinks it's invisible because that property
was not changed back to true. (QTBUG-48647)
* Call emitUpdated from insertMenuItem and removeMenuItem methods, as they
really update layout. Do not call it from syncMenuItem, it changes only
properties but not the layout.
* Start revision numbering with 1, because libdbusmenu-based hosts ignore
updated signal with revision=1.

To achieve that, add a new virtual setHasExclusiveGroup() method to
QPlatformMenuItem class (optional because we don't want to break existing
platform themes), call it when converting QActions into platform menu items,
and use it when exporting the menu items over D-Bus.
Also, send ActionChanged event for actions when their group is changed, so
that the platform menus are updated too.

For QLatin1String, operator== is overloaded, so comparing to a latin-1
(C) string literal is efficient, since strlen() is comparatively fast.
OTOH, QStringLiteral, when not using RVO, litters the code with
QString dtor calls, which are not inline. Worse, absent lambdas,
it even allocates memory.
So, just compare using QLatin1String instead.

When initializing the font members in the QGnomeTheme constructor,
the QFont constructor called QGuiApplication::font() which in
turn calls initFontUnlocked(), initializing
QGuiApplicationPrivate::app_font to QPlatformFontDatabase::defaultFont()
("Deja Vu 12") since QGuiApplicationPrivate::platformTheme() is still
0 at that point.
Change the fonts to pointer members and initialize them
delayed in QGnomeThemePrivate::configureFonts() instead.

Qt 5.7 no longer contains lib/fonts. This is a regression for users
relying on Qt's own fonts when running on Embedded Linux systems without
fontconfig. To alleviate the pain, show a friendly message about this.
The old "is Qt installed correctly" note is out-of-date anyhow now.

Now that more of the raster operations are NEON-optimized this should
be acceptable. The switch enables antialiased drawing, and makes iOS
in line with other platforms in having QBackingStore backed by a QImage.
The use of QImage also allows us to remove code from the backingstore
implementation that was only needed to support the composeAndFlush
code path.
The common parts of a raster backingstore implementation have been
factored out into QRasterBackingStore in platformsupport, which can
be shared with more platforms in the future.
[ChangeLog][iOS] QBackingStore now uses the raster paint engine
instead of the OpenGL paint engine, enabling improved antialiased
drawing. In case of performance regressions, the old code path
can be enabled by setting the window's surface type to
QSurface::OpenGLSurface.

This was a regression (it worked in 4.8) that was probably introduced
by the refactoring of the accessibility framework in Qt 5.
Now, QPlatformAccessibility::notifyAccessibilityUpdate() is called
regardless of isActive(), so its the responsibility of each
implementation of notifyAccessibilityUpdate() to check for isActive()
where it matters.

On Windows, the wrong value was used to calculate the
design-to-device scale. The assumption has been that tmHeight
in the TEXTMETRIC is the pixel size of the em square, but
it is not, it's the height of the font (ascent + descent).
The pixel size of the font is defined to be the em square size
in pixels.
On OS X, the kerning data was never actually read from the
font. I've added a lazy initialization for this similar to
the one in the FT engine.
This was discovered when investigating QTBUG-48546, as it turned
out that the kerning information extracted by Qt in this case was
different from the one used by Harfbuzz.
I've changed testfont.ttf to kern "_2" so that the digit is positioned
directly on top of the underscore and constructed a test.
[ChangeLog][QRawFont] Fixed kerning on advances in QRawFont for
OS X and Windows.

That is the new name for gnome-icon-theme for more than 1.5 years. See [1]
for details.
Still keep “gnome” as the fallback icon theme, so this commit should not
break anything.

This makes it possible to reuse it for the minimalegl QPA plugin.

The major changes compared to the Gtk+ 2 version are:
* Everything is ported to modern Gtk/Gdk API.
* GtkFontChooserDialog is used instead of deprecated GtkFontSelectionDialog.
* Hiding buttons on dialogs (like OK/Cancel) is no longer supported, as it is
impossible to do that with dialogs using GtkHeaderBars.
* Some workarounds were added to the QGtk3Theme constructor to correctly work
with Gtk+ 3.
[ChangeLog][Platform Specific Changes] The Gtk+ platform theme has been ported
to Gtk+ 3.

The QGuiApplicationPrivate object is already destroyed by the time
the plugins are cleaned up during the application destruction, causing
a segmentation fault in updateInputDeviceCount().
There's no point in calling updateInputDeviceCount() in the destructor
anyway as the whole process is on its way out that stage, and we
don't support unloading plugins during the application lifetime
otherwise, so the call can just be removed from the destructor.
