Fixes the macos build with the disabled opengl feature.
Include inttypes.h that used to be implicitly included by
qopenglcontext_p.h. It's needed for 'PRId64' macro.

It was only used by QMacToolBar in QtMacExtras, which no longer exists
in Qt 6. Attaching a toolbar can be done manually via the NSWindow of
the NSView retrieved from winId(). There are no public uses of the native
interface in GitHub outside of Qt.
Improvements we want to make to toolbars in QtWidgets and QtQuick in the
future, possibly backed by native toolbars, would be done behind the
scenes and would not need this API.
This effectively reverts e8fd6b9604bac334404dc52daa63b9e6d9cd71d8.

The API is supported on macOS, iOS, and Windows. On Android no official
API exists for badging the application icon, and we don't want to take
on dependencies like ShortcutBadger [1].
The macOS and iOS implementations are trivial. The same goes for
the WinRT based implementation on Windows, but this API is only
available for applications that have a so called "package identity",
and does not seem to be stable for Windows 10.
To cover the cases where this API is not available we fall back to
drawing the badge manually, and set it as an overlay icon on the task
bar using ITaskbarList3. The look of this badge has been tweaked to
match the Windows 11/10 styles, and will pick up the user's choice of
dark/light mode and accent color if available.
[1] https://github.com/leolin310148/ShortcutBadger/
[ChangeLog][QtGui] Added QGuiApplication::setBadgeNumber() to inform
the user about e.g. the number of unread e-mail or queued tasks.
The badge will be overlaid on the application's icon in the Dock
on macOS, the home screen icon on iOS, or the task bar on Windows.

After 70b94eea10d7af83cced09296755a8af28e167b5, all popups are closed
on mouseDown within the window frame. As with native applications, the
popup is closed on press, and before the press is delivered to the frame
(ie before the jewel is shown as depressed).
The previous notification handlers for window moving, minimizing, and
closing can now be removed, together with the alternative implementation
of closePopups that relies on the Cocoa plugin maintaining its own
popup stack.

This enables the two possible approaches for handling external keyboard
events. While support still exists for before 13.4 then both approaches
are needed. This ensures that all external keyboard events are handled
as key events and passed on accordingly. Additionally, this accounts
for possible shortcuts too, therefore a new function is added to
QShortcutMap to aid that.
As a result, code has now moved from QCocoaKeyMapper to be part of the
gui/platforms/darwin part to make it easier to reuse this code
elsewhere.

We were already using the 'native' nomenclature when referring to these
kinds of APIs, e.g. when talking about native handles, or the existing
QPlatformNativeInterface on a QPA level. Using 'native' for the user
facing APIs also distinguishes them from the 'platform' backend layer
in QPA and elsewhere.

If we have a platform plugin we ask the platform to quit, and if
not we fall back to the base implementation of QCoreApplication
that sends Quit events directly.
This allows the platform to involve the rest of the system in the
process. The platform will then come back with a spontaneous quit
via QWSI::handleApplicationTermination(), which will then send
the corresponding Quit even from QGuiApplication like normal.

The API is available by including qopenglcontext.h as usual,
but scoped in the QPlatformInterface namespace. The namespace
exposes platform specific type-safe interfaces that provide:
a) Factory functions for adopting native contexts, e.g.
QCocoaGLContext::fromNative(nsContext, shareContext);
b) Access to underlying native handles, e.g.
openGLContext->platformInterface<QCocoaGLContext>->nativeContext()
c) Platform specific functionality, e.g.
static QWGLContext::openGLModuleHandle()
openGLContext->platformInterface<QEGLContext>->doSomething();
The platform interfaces live close to the classes they extend,
removing the need for complex indirection and plumbing, and
avoids kitchen-sink modules and APIs such as the extras modules,
QPlatformFunctions, or QPlatformNativeInterface.
In the case of QOpenGLContext these platform APIs are backed
by the platform plugin, so dynamic_cast is used to ensure the
platform plugin supports the requested interface, but this is
and implementation detail. The interface APIs are agnostic
to where the implementation lives, while still being available
to the user as part of the APIs they extend/augment.
The documentation will be restored when the dust settles.

This patch aims to implement the session management available on macOS.
Currently applicationShouldTerminate is just a go through that closes
everything and ends the application. The new implementation calls
first appCommitData and cancels the termination properly if required.
This means that if a user wishes to logout, Qt applications can now
cancel that like e.g. answering to Safari asking whether it is ok to
close because of a number of opened tab/window.

We do this on windowDidMove/windowWillClose, but we don't on a 'will
miniaturize' notification. This can leave an application with an
orphan popup window, such as context menu which looks really weird.
I err on a safe side though - I don't close all popups - the application's
logic can be such that it has several windows and one of them gets
minimized (we can do this via QWidget's interface, for example) - would
be strange if all popups close. So I only close popups that have
the miniaturized window as a transient parent.

Using NSScreen as the basis for tracking screens is not recommended, as
the list of screens can be added, removed, or dynamically reconfigured at
any time, and the NSScreen instance, or index in the NSScreen.screens array
may not be stable.
Quartz Display Services on the other hand tracks displays via a unique
display ID, which typically remains constant until the machine is restarted.
The lower level API also gives us earlier callbacks about screen changes
than the corresponding NSApplicationDidChangeScreenParametersNotification
does. By reacting to screen changes _before_ AppKit does, we can remove
workarounds for receiving window move and screen change notifications
before the screen was actually visibly reconfigured.
The new approach also handles changes to the primary screen, which
can happen if the user moves the menu bar in the macOS display
arrangement pane.
The device pixel ratio of the screen has been made into a cached
property, like all the other properties of QCocoaScreen. This is
more consistent, and allows us to qDebug the screen even when it
has been removed and we no longer have access to resolve the
properties from the associated Quarts display.

Add support for QSurface::VulkanSurface and QVulkanWindow.
Usage:
1) Build MoltenVK according to instructions
2) Configure Qt: ./configure -I /path/to/MoltenVK/Package/Release/MoltenVK/include
3) export QT_VULKAN_LIB=/path/to/MoltenVK/Package/Release/MoltenVK/macOS/libMoltenVK.
Implement support for QSurface::VulkanSurface by enabling
layer mode for QNSView and then creating a CAMetalLayer,
which the MoltenVK translation layer can run on.
MoltenVK provides an implementation of the Vulcan API,
which means that the platform integration is similar
to other platforms: implement a QCocoaVulkanInstance
where we pass the QNSView instance to the vkCreateMacOSSurfaceMVK
Vulkan surface constructor function.
Using Vulkan directly without QVulkanWindow is possible, but not
tested.
We currently load libMoltenVK at run-time and use the
existing QT_VULKAN_LIB environment variable to set its
path. For deployment purposes it would be better to
link against MoltenVK.frameworkm, but this

There are three ways to set the application (Dock/task switcher) icon:
1. By setting an ICON in the project file
2. By calling QGuiApplication::setWindowIcon
3. By calling QWindow::setIcon
The third one was not working on macOS, despite being documented as
such: "The window icon might be used by the windowing system for example
to decorate the window, and/or in the task switcher."
We now update the application icon based on the active window,
unless a global application icon has been set using ICON, or
via QGuiApplication::setWindowIcon. The reason for not allowing
the window's icon to override a global application icon is that
the developer may have intended to set the document icon for a
window (to represent QWindow::filePath), and we don't want that
to affect the Dock icon of the application.
The role of QGuiApplication::setWindowIcon is a bit dubious in this,
as it's documented as "This property holds the default window icon",
which would indicate it should follow the same logic as above by not
letting it override the global ICON set in the project file, but this
would not allow runtime switching of the application icon, so the
QGuiApplication property is left as is. The property should probably
have been named QGuiApplication::applicationIcon initially.

The platform plugins reading this out of the QWindow was a layering
violation, and propagates the notion that a window can shape shift
into representing a new native handle, while none of the platform
plugins support this.
A foreign QWindow is created via the factory function fromWinId(),
at which point we can pass the WId all the way to the platform
plugin as function arguments, where the platform will create a
corresponding platform-window.
The platform window can then answer the question of whether or
not it's representing a foreign window, which determines a few
behavioral changes here and there, as well as supplying the
native window handle back for QWindow::winId();
[ChangeLog][QtGui][QWindow] The "_q_foreignWinId" dynamic property
is no longer set nor read.
[ChangeLog][QtGui][QPA] The function createForeignWindow() has been
added to QPlatormIntegration and is now responsible for creating
foreign windows. The function isForeignWindow() in QPlatformWindow
has been added, and platforms should implement this to return true
for windows created by createForeignWindow().

The assumption that the primary screen is the only one whose available
geometry differs from its full geometry no longer holds, so we need to
compute the available geometry for all screens.
Helpers methods for flipping between coordinates have been introduced
in QCocoaScreen, to make flipping possible relative to a specific
screen, and for exposing similar functionality in the future for
QScreen. The corresponding functions in qcocoahelpers.mm should
possibly be deprecated in favor of being explicit about which
screen is doing the mapping.

From Qt 5.7 -> LGPL v2.1 isn't an option anymore, see

Updated license headers to use new LGPL header instead of LGPL21 one
(in those files which will be under LGPL v3)

Vibrates the device or plays an alert sound on devices
that do not support vibration.
The other implementations of beep() have been moved to
QPlatformIntegration as a proper API instead of having
them as invokables in QPlatformNativeInterface.

Cocoa is basically just AppKit + CoreData. Since we do not use CoreData
in Qt, there is no reason to link to it or (transitively) import its
headers.
This is just a mechanical replacement of -framework Cocoa with
-framework AppKit and <Cocoa/Cocoa.h> with <AppKit/AppKit.h>

This is useful, for example, when we want to test the virtual
keyboard on OS X. It uses the usual QT_IM_MODULE code path
provided by QPlatformInputContextFactory if that environment
variable is set. If not, it defaults to QCocoaInputContext.

We have at least 5 different (but equal) implementations of a wrapper
in Qt, and some code uses explicit NSAutoreleasePools. Having a shared
implementation lets us clean up things a bit and makes it easier to
reason about which pools are actually needed.

On OS X the application icon can be changed at runtime, so this adds a way
to set this via the QPlatformIntegration.
[ChangeLog][OS X] QApplication::setWindowIcon now changes the icon for the

We need to track the active popup globally, having
parent windows track child popups is not sufficient
since there may be one or more intermediate windows
in between the event receiving window and popup window.
Add API to QOCocoaIntegration for tracking the global
popup window and use it instead of the per-window
tracking. Make sure to only close popups on clicks
outside the popup only. Add code to QNSView::handleMouseEvent
that redirects mouse events to the active popup.
Add manual test.
