When setting new buttons with setStandardButtons(), the old ones are
deleted by iterating over d->standardButtonHash. But this hash is
modified when a button is destroyed and therefore sometimes not all
buttons were deleted.
This amends df735d794fd2e545c18b9e345e833422bcd64329.

A QDialogButtonBox with the first accept button becoming default, didn't
explicitly set focus on such a button in a QDialog.
d44413d526ec12ed83acd7343c2005782178c7ad implemented this missing
functionality. It set focus to the automatic default button, unless the
QDialog had a focusWidget() set.
That has caused a regression, in cases where
- the QDialog has a QWidget child with a Qt::StrongFocus policy, and
- the QDialog is not yet visible, so focusWidget() returns nullptr.
Amend d44413d526ec12ed83acd7343c2005782178c7ad:
Implement a helper in QWidgetPrivate, that returns true, if a child
with a given focus policy is found.
Do not set focus to a QDialogButtonBox's automatic default button, when
- not located inside a QDialog, or
- a focusWidget() exists, or
- the dialog has QWidget child with Qt::StrongFocus, that is not a
child of the QDialogButtonBox.
Add an autotest function.

QDialogButtonBox::layoutButtons() rebuilds the focus chain based on the
button layout. It relied on the fact that the last button in the layout
would point back to the first button. That is not the case, if
- a focus frame gets inserted in the chain, and
- the default button is not at the layout's first (=left) position.
In that case, the chain stops at the button left of the default button.
The default button can not be reached by tabbing forward. Back-tabbing
still worked.
By not "closing" the focus chain, the focus proxy was set to the first
button found in the layout. That is wrong, whenever the default button
is not at the first layout position. When the box got focus for the
first time, pressing "Enter" could lead to a non-default button being
triggered. A Yes/No message box would have No as its default button.
On Linux, it would pop up with "No" being highlighted, but "Yes" having
focus. Pressing Enter would trigger Yes, instead of No.
tst_QMessageBox::staticSourceCompat() heuristically defines the
button expected to be triggered by Enter. On Linux/KDE, it would pass,
when the wrong button was fired.
=> Always "close" the focus chain, by linking the last and first
buttons.
=> Make the default button the button box's focus proxy.
=> Change tst_QMessageBox::staticSourceCompat() to always expect No
being fired by Enter in a Yes/No box.
[ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QDialogButtonBox] Default button becomes
focus proxy of a QDialogButtonBox. This ensures that Enter triggers
the default button, instead of the first button in the layout.

QDialogButtonBox has logic to automatically resolve a default button,
in case one is not already set via QPushButton directly, or via e.g.
QMessageBox::setDefaultButton().
Unfortunately, this default button can in some cases be overridden by
the first button in the dialog button box. The reason this happens
is that the first button is the focus proxy of the button box, so
when the button box gains focus, it will transfer it to the first
button. And since QPushButtons inside a QDialog have their autoDefault
property set to true by default, this focus transfer will also reset
the default button to the focused button.
This arbitrarily happens for any role that happens to be earlier in
the QDialogButtonBox::ButtonLayout than the AcceptRole, and can be
very confusing for the user, so we try to avoid the situation by
explicitly setting the automatic default button as the focus
widget of the button box, unless one is set already.
This is also what QMessageBox::setDefaultButton() does internally.
The only case we're not covering is when the user sets a push button
as default via QPushButton::setDefault(), but we conservatively
assume that the user then also calls setFocus() on the button.

All these TUs relied on transitive includes of qpointer.h, maybe to a
large extent via qevent.h, though, given that qevent.h is more or less
the only public QtBase header that includes qpointer.h, something else
seems to be at play here.
Said qevent.h actually needs QPointer in-name-only, so a forward
declaration would suffice. Prepare for qevent.h dropping the include.
The algorithm I used was:
If the TU mentions 'passiveGrabbers', the name of the QEvent function
that returns QPointers, and the TU doesn't have qpointer.h included
explicitly, include it. That may produce False Positives, but better
safe than sorry. Otherwise, in src/, add an include to all source and
header files which mention QPointer. Exception: if foo.h of a foo.cpp
already includes it, don't include again.

0b421fa58b9a73d657bf17834788fd1175c4767e ensured a correct focus chain,
when buttons in a QDialogButtonBox were hidden.
The implementation did not check, if a hidden button was added via
setStandardButtons(). In consequence, it was removed from the
standardButtonHash and never added again.
QDialogButtonBox::button() returned nullptr for a standard button,
once it had been hidden. That introduced a regression.
This follow-up patch makes sure, a standard button is not removed
from standardButtonHash, when hidden. By no longer removing it from
standardButtonHash, it makes showQDialogButtonBox::button() always
return the pointer to the standard button, even if it is hidden.
The function handleButtonDestroyed() used the argument
QDialogButtonBoxPrivate::RemoveRule::KeepConnections, in order to leave
signal/slot connections untouched. It expected the the destroyed button
to be removed from standardButtonHash. In order to retain that
functionality, the enum class RemoveRule is renamed to RemoveReason,
and one value was added. QDialogButtonBoxPrivate now handles all
necessary cases of removing a button:
ManualRemove (previously Disconnect):
- remove button from roles
- remove button from standardButtonHash
- disconnect all signals
LeaveEvent (previously KeepConnections):
- remove button from roles
- do not remove button form standardButtonHash
- do not disconnect signals
Destroyed (new):
- remove button from roles
- remove button from standardButtonHash
- do not disconnect signals (QObject will do that)
An autotest is added to tst_QDialogButtonBox.

Hiding a button in a QDialogButtonBox doesn't remove its default and
focus behavior. Hiding the button shown in the first position, breaks
the focus chain. Tabbing between the button is no longer possible.
This patch implements listening to the buttons' HideToParent and
ShowToParent events. Hidden buttons are removed from the button box
and kept in a separate hash. That ensures focus chain consistency.
When they are shown again, they are added to the button logic and
their default/focus behavior is restored.
An autotest is added in tst_QDialogButtonBox.

Duplicating the number of classes is a high price to pay to be able to
have some QAction functionality behave differently, or be only available
in widgets applications.
Instead, declare the entire API in QtGui in QAction* classes, and
delegate the implementation of QtWidgets specific functionality to
the private. The creation of the private is then delegated to the
Q(Gui)ApplicationPrivate instance through a virtual factory function.
Change some public APIs that are primarily useful for specialized tools
such as Designer to operate on QObject* rather than QWidget*. APIs that
depend on QtWidgets types have been turned into inline template
functions, so that they are instantiated only at the caller side, where
we can expect the respective types to be fully defined. This way, we
only need to forward declare a few classes in the header, and don't
need to generate any additional code for e.g. language bindings.

Commit c5db8fc74 changed all instances of Q_WS_FOO to have the prefix
Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4 instead, to make it clearer when reading the code
that the code in question was a left-over from Qt4, when we used
Q_WS_ defines instead of Q_OS_ defines.
This worked well for cases of #ifdef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, but less so
for cases of #ifndef Q_DEAD_CODE_FROM_QT4, where the code was actually
unconditionally included.
To make this even clearer, the defines have been replaced by checks for
1 or 0, with a comment describing how the code used to look in Qt4. The
use of constants in the check also makes it easier for editors to parse
the condition and show visually that the code is defined out.

As of version 10.12 (Sierra), the name of Apple's desktop operating
system will be macOS. Change the occurrences where the Mac platform
is discussed to use a macro \macos, which expands to 'macOS'. This
helps with adapting to future renaming.
Update the instructions on mac-specific Q_OS_* macro usage.
Add a \target for the old 'Qt for OS X' topic to keep links working
for other documentation modules that try to link with the old name.

... by replacing them with C++11 range-for loops.
This is the simplest of the patch series: Q_FOREACH took a
copy, so we do, too. Except we don't, since we're just
catching the return value that comes out of the function
(RVO). We can't feed the rvalues into range-for, because
they are non-const and would thus detach.
Saves 2.2KiB in test size on optimized GCC 5.3 Linux AMD64
builds.

If, after checking a condition, we issue a qWarning(),
by definition that check is unlikely to be true.
Tell the compiler so it can move the error handling
code out of the normal code path to increase the
effective icache size.
This change contains the changes to the util/,
dialogs/ and widgets/ subdirs.
Moved conditional code around where possible so that
we could always use Q_UNLIKELY, instead of having to
revert to Q_LIKELY here and there.
In QSystemTrayIcon::setVisible(), as a drive-by, I
swapped the evaluation order of an &&-expression
(newly wrapped in Q_UNLIKELY) to be more readable
and more efficient (cheaper check first) at the same
time.

As usual, user code connected to signals emitted from Qt may destroy
an object's internal status while a signal is being emitted.
Guard a bit QDialogButtonBox signal emissions to prevent
crashes in case the button or a dialog get deleted from a slot
connected to clicked(). Also, be sure to emit the corresponding
accepted/rejected/etc. signal.

Qt copyrights are now in The Qt Company, so we could update the source
code headers accordingly. In the same go we should also fix the links to
point to qt.io.
Outdated header.LGPL removed (use header.LGPL21 instead)
Old header.LGPL3 renamed to header.LGPL3-COMM to match actual licensing
combination. New header.LGPL-COMM taken in the use file which were
using old header.LGPL3 (src/plugins/platforms/android/extract.cpp)
Added new header.LGPL3 containing Commercial + LGPLv3 + GPLv2 license
combination

We still have a bunch of Q_WS_ ifdefs in our code, which are easy to
mistake for Q_OS_ ifdefs when quickly scanning the code. By renaming
the ifdefs we make it clear that the code in question is dead.
In incremental follow-ups, we can then selectively either remove, or
port, the pieces that are dead code.

It will now share the same behavior as QGroupBox, which has NoFocus
if its not checkable.
This doesn't lure AT clients to stop and read its content (this is the
case for android accessibility) (designer seems to generate a tooltip
for each QDialogButtonBox, which will be read as the name).

0x80000000 is too big for a signed 32-bit int, so the compiler ends
up choosing a 64-bit number. Then it will not be the same size as
the parallel enum QDialogButtonBox::ButtonRole, which does not have
these extra flags. By making EOL be the same as InvalidRole and
changing Reverse to 0x40000000, we don't need to use 0x80000000 at
all, so again the compiler can choose a 32-bit representation
for both if appropriate. EOL is used as a terminator in the
static const int buttonRoleLayouts table and therefore as a terminator
in arrays returned from QPlatformDialogHelper::buttonLayout().
It's internal API so it's OK to change in a minor release, but
QtQuick.Dialogs is also looking for the EOL now, so we should avoid
changing it again if possible. This is mainly for efficiency and
for avoiding surprise data type conversions when casting from one
enum to the other.

widgets and QtQuick.Dialogs. The main reason is to ensure that
QtQuick.Dialogs does not need to depend on the widgets module, in
order to re-implement the button box concept in a generic dialog.
