| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The function is used the internal window activation machinery and should not be called by user code. Many tests still use this function, and should be ported over to QWidget::activateWindow(). For now they are using the private helper in QApplicationPrivate, so that we can progress with the public API deprecation. * QAbstractItemDelegate: tolerate that editor gets reparentedVolker Hilsheimer2022-08-251-0/+70
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | An item delegate might override destroyEditor to merely reparent the existing editor out of the item view for later reuse, rather than actually destroying the editor. As of d0dffdfc012574da4a75241097b667d09bb39ba2, the code calling closeEditor() - which calls destroyEditor - might explicitly set focus back to the item view parent of the editor. This needs to handle that the parent of the editor might no longer be valid after the closeEditor call returns, and rather store the old parent widget explicitly. Add a test case that segfaults with nullptr access without the fix. * QAbstractItemView: don't toggle extended selection on Ctrl+PressVolker Hilsheimer2021-06-071-4/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In ExtendedSelection mode, a Ctrl+Press might be both the start of a selection toggle, or the start of a Ctrl+Drag operation. If we already toggle on the press, then it's impossible to drag the existing selection while the Control key is pressed. Ignore Ctrl+Press events and let the corresponding release event toggle the selection. Adjust the relevant test cases accordingly. The QItemDelegate test case used a click+control event incorrectly, such an event doesn't change the clicked state and should not be eaten, and now it does change the selection, so fix the test. * Replace QAbstractItemView::viewOptions with initViewItemOptionVolker Hilsheimer2020-08-261-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | viewOptions returned a QStyleOptionViewItem object. Such a method can never support newer versions of the option structure. Most styleable QWidget classes provide a virtual method initStyleOption that initializes the option object passed in as a pointer, e.g QFrame, QAbstractSpinBox, or QComboBox. Follow that API convention, but name it initViewItemOption, as the QStyleOptionViewItem struct contains information about the item as well as the widget itelf. This is a source incompatible change that will go unnoticed unless existing subclasses mark their overrides as 'override', or call the removed QAbstractItemView::viewOption virtual function. [ChangeLog][QtWidgets][QAbstractItemView] The virtual viewOptions method that previously returned a QStyleOptionViewItem object has been renamed to initViewItemOption, and initializes a QStyleOptionViewItem object that's passed in through a pointer. | | * tst_QItemDelegate: try to stabilize combobox testChristian Ehrlicher2019-01-252-4/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | tst_QItemDelegate::comboBox() is flaky because sometimes the used QTableWidget does not yet have the focus which prevents a correct editing. Fix it by explictily setting the focus on the widget after it is shown. A similar fix was added for dateTimeEditor() in 9822d57d858068cfe5a07281ef069ef8c4c7b7b3. With this patch the test no longer fails for my on opensuse, therefore remove the blacklisting.
