* Port from qAsConst() to std::as_const()Marc Mutz2022-10-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We've been requiring C++17 since Qt 6.0, and our qAsConst use finally starts to bother us (QTBUG-99313), so time to port away from it now. Since qAsConst has exactly the same semantics as std::as_const (down to rvalue treatment, constexpr'ness and noexcept'ness), there's really nothing more to it than a global search-and-replace, with manual unstaging of the actual definition and documentation in dist/, src/corelib/doc/ and src/corelib/global/. * Rename and restructure the baseline (lancelot) testing codeEirik Aavitsland2021-11-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In preparation for addition of new baseline tests, establish a new test category, "baseline". This is similar to the category "benchmarks" in that it contains tests that use the QTest framework, but conceptually are not unit tests, in contrast to those under auto/. Move the existing QPainter baseline test, tst_lancelot, into this new category, and rename it accordingly. Baseline tests use the QBaselineTest extension to QTest. Move that extension too into the tests/baseline directory, allowing the clean out of the baselineserver directory. * testlib: Deprecate QWARN() in favor of qWarning()Tor Arne Vestbø2021-08-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The QtTest best practices documentations recommends using output mechanisms such as qDebug() and qWarning() for diagnostic messages, and this is also what most of our own tests do. The QWARN() macro and corresponding internal QTest::qWarn() function was added when QtTest was first implemented, but was likely meant as an internal implementation detail, like its cousin QTestLog::info(), which does not have any corresponding macro. This theory is backed by our own QtTest self-test (tst_silent) describing the output from QWARN() as "an internal testlib warning". The only difference between QWARN() and qWarning(), besides the much richer feature set of the latter, is that qWarning() will not pass on file and line number information in release mode, but QWARN() will. This is an acceptable loss of functionality, considering that the user can override this behavior by defining QT_MESSAGELOGCONTEXT. [ChangeLog][QtTest] QWARN() has been deprecated in favor of qWarning() Pick-to: 6.2 Change-Id: I5a2431ce48c47392244560dd520953b9fc735c85 Reviewed-by: Thiago Macieira <thiago.macieira@intel.com>

* Fix lancelot PaintCommands for reuseAllan Sandfeld Jensen2019-11-281-10/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | Some structures needed to be cleaned for the reuse to be safe. Reusing it cuts down on the overhead in lancebench. Also uniqueness of block names are now enforced, and the common pattern of "end_block blockName" could now be parsed if not always commented out by begin_block handling. * Fix lancebench results oddnessAllan Sandfeld Jensen2019-07-231-10/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | Imports were expanded in the list of commands every time they were evaluated. This meant any test with imports ran slower and slower the more iterations it got through. Fixed by creating a new PaintCommands object every time and living with initialization of it being part of the benchmark results.
