The obvious combiner, XOR, is a bad one because it eliminates duplicate elements. Signed addition cannot be used, since signed overflow leads to undefined behavior. With the current QVector behavior, this causes constant deallocation, which makes it morbidly slow. This behavior will be reviewed in a subsequent commit.
