* Update build configuration for eLinux after update to Chromium 37.Zeno Albisser2014-10-061-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The build configuration requires the following changes: - toolkit_views=1: for native_theme_aura, as otherwise nine_image_painter_factory.cc would be excluded. - use_system_harfbuzz=0: we do not want to rely on this being provided on the system, therefore being explicit. - want_separate_host_toolset=1: assures that icuuc gyp target will be available. The file gl_surface_ozone.cc must be added to the exclusion list to avoid duplicate symbols with gl_surface_at.cpp. The defines EGL_API_FB and LINUX must be set to 1, to explicitly define that we are using EGL and are building for a linux target. | | | | | | | | | | This allows the BrowserAccessibilityFactoryQt and BrowserAccessibilityQt classes to also be used on Windows, and this also remove our dependency on ATL, which is only easily available for Visual Studio Professional users. * Update the QtWebEngineCore library to run on top of Chromium 37Jocelyn Turcotte2014-08-141-14/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most of the patch is about upstream classes/methods that changed. Other important details: - icu data files are now used by default - cygwin is no longer required to build on Windows - RenderFrameHost has been replacing RenderViewHost in a few places, following the separate process iframes support in Chromium - The user agent is accessed through ContentClient::GetUserAgent instead of from the command line switches Change-Id: I86cc93aff7ce31176a80b0b4a5d54025674a451c Reviewed-by: Andras Becsi <andras.becsi@digia.com>
* Implement GLSurfaceQt and exclude chromium's implementationAndras Becsi2014-08-021-0/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This makes it possible to use the same EGLConfig that is used by Qt when initializing the EGL surface instead of relying on eglChooseConfig. We can use the native interface to query the used config from Qt to avoid EGL_BAD_MATCH errors during initialization. This depends on patches in the qtbase dev branch, which will become Qt 5.4 at some point, therefore we can only merge this patch if we make Qt 5.4 a hard-dependency of QtWebEngine. * On windows use blink's accessibility implementationFrederik Gladhorn2014-07-231-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | This fixes the windows build after the initial a11y patches landed. In addition blink a11y works well on this platform so there is no reason to map it to the Qt one. Since it's based on window handles they mix well. Change-Id: I4441541864bbdab126cd9412a3640c7284b98193 Reviewed-by: Michael Bruning <michael.bruning@digia.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds the basics to bridge the blink accessibility classes to QAccessibleInterfaces. Note that it needs two follow up commits to implement the bridging from the QWidget/Qt Quick worlds. [ChangeLog][Accessibility] QtWebEngine now has accessibility support, enabling assistive technology such as screen readers to work with it. * Windows: Use the runtime library the same way as QtJocelyn Turcotte2014-04-151-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Using a custom allocator prevents us from allocating memory in Chromium cc files and freeing it in our code. Always use the normal CRT heap allocator to allow this. This also makes sure that we use the same /M flags for Chromium translation units as for Qt when dynamically linked. We won't support statically linking QtWebEngine at first anyway. * Add SurfaceFactoryQt and OzonePlatformEglfs.Zeno Albisser2014-03-311-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SurfaceFactoryQt::loadEGLGLES2Bindings is needed to find and load EGL and GLES2 libraries on embedded linux. It also provides a function to query the native display. We are using qmake variables at compile time to detect where we should look for the libraries at runtime. For EGLFS we query the native display through PlatformNativeInterface. If the resource is not exposed by Qt (pre 5.4), then we assume EGL_DEFAULT_DISPLAY, which is the right parameter for close to 100% of the cases anyway. OzonePlatformEglfs is just boiler plate code.
