Implement platform independent tracing backend in Common trace format.
This allows tracing in platforms without own/existing backend and
analysing all platforms with the same tooling. The backend is the basis
for further work in application level profiling area.
The backend is implemented as a plugin that is loaded immediately when
the application starts in order to process all trace events. The backend
avoids using Qt classes so that it doesn't generate trace events
itself. Adds plumbing to configure the new backend.
Modifies the tracegen and tracepointgen tools to support the new
backend.

Allows automatically generating tracepoint files by scanning source
files for instrumentation macros.
This makes it easier to add tracepoint support to modules and also
ensures that the tracepoint files do not get out of sync with the
functions they are tracing.
Q_TRACE_INSTRUMENT generates entry/exit tracespoints for a function
it is set. Q_TRACE_PARAM_REPLACE is used to change a function parameter
for these functions to convert it to supported parameter type.
Q_TRACE_POINT can be used to create a standalone tracepoint.
Q_TRACE_PREFIX can be used to add prefix for generated tracing backend
for example to add includes for types used in the trace points..

syncqt.pl adds an extra dependency on perl when building Qt. Modern C++
provides the convenient cross-platform way to access a filesystem and
to use regular expressions, so we may replace the perl script with C++
application. The syncqt executable is built at configure time and
installed as QtCore tool. It's running at configure time to deliver the
required header files for IDE to build a consistent code model and at
the build time to keep tracking changes in header files and generate
the missing aliases without reconfiguring. 'syncqt' only parses header
files from a CMake build tree, so the resulting Qt installation only
contains interfacing headers that belong to the platform that Qt is
built for. 'sync.profile' files are not used as the 'source of truth'
for sync qt procedure anymore, all the necessary information is taken
from either CMake files at configure time or from the module header
files while parsing them.
syncqt.pl is still in place since it's required as fallback solution
for a smooth transition to the new syncqt implementation for all qt
repositories.
This patchset only enables the C++ based syncqt for 'qtbase'
repository.
From the performance perspective C++ version works faster then perl
script, also the configure time is reduced significally on subsequent
reconfigurations - up x2 times faster when re-configuring repository,
but it also takes time to compile the tool itself the first time.
Numbers for qtbase:
syncqt.pl syncqt.cpp
initial: 0m16,035s 0m20,413s
reconfig: 0m6,819s 0m3,725s
The syncing procedure can be run separately for each module using
<ModuleName>_sync_headers targets. The 'sync_headers' target can be
used to sync all the modules at once.

Previously if a target depended on CorePrivate, we would write a
_qt_internal_find_qt_dependencies(... Qt6CorePrivate) call into a
FooDependencies.cmake file.
That find_qt_deps call would remove the 'Private' suffix and would run
find_dependency with NAMES set to both the altered and non-altered
names.
This would find the relevant package but it would set the wrong
_FOUND variable name, e.g it would set Qt6CorePrivate_FOUND instead
of Qt6Core_FOUND.
This in turn could cause multiple lookups of the Qt6Core package
during dependency handling because the correct _FOUND var would not be
set.
Instead of always looking for the Qt6CorePrivate package, make sure
we look for an appropriately named package for all Privates modules,
because we have the necessary info to determine the correct name.
Note that INTERNAL modules will still be looked up via a Private
suffixed package name because that's how the package name is chosen
for them.
Remove the code that accounted for Private modules in
qt_internal_remove_qt_dependency_duplicates because it's not needed
anymore.
Warn when a package name can't be queried from a target's property
because the target might not exist yet.
Add a TODO comment for the code that searches with two NAMES.
We can't remove it right now, because it might break user projects
that use stale Dependencies.cmake files.
The dbus subdirectory is added before the tools subdirectory
to ensure that the new package name extraction does not error out, due
to trying to access a target that does not yet exist.

The ZLIB and the PCRE2 should be created before Core, because
src/corelib does qt_find_package to find the bundled / built
libraries.
The libpng, libjpeg, and the rest of the 3rd party libraries should be
created after the Core target is created, because they reference
Core conditionally in qt_internal_extend_target.
Targets should ideally be referenced only after they are created, when
creating linking relationships, but if code needs to extract
properties from those targets, then the targets must exist.
This will be the case in a future change which will extract the
package name from a target's property via qt_internal_extend_target ->
qt_register_target_dependencies chain.

[ChangeLog][General] The QtOpenglExtensions module has been
discontinued. It provided only convenience functionality for certain
direct OpenGL usage. With the new RHI graphics API abstraction, that
is no longer a primary use case. Applications that still need to
access that API have a number of alternative options, including
QOpenGLExtraFunctions.

A few things are needed to accomplish that:
- the python scripts do not ignore certain system_foo features anymore
(it is a hardcoded list for now just to be safe)
- configurejson2cmake now outputs
qt_find_package(WrapSystemFoo) calls for bundled libraries
(see below)
- the harfbuzz .pro file is modified to accommodate pro2cmake
not being able to correctly parse some conditional scopes
- the freetype .pro file is modified to make sure linking of the
library succeeds without duplicate symbol errors, which qmake
doesn't encounter due to magical exclusion of cpp files that are
included in other cpp files (presumably for include moc_foo.cpp
support)
- feature evaluation for Core, Gui, Network now happens in the
qtbase/src directory, so that bundled libraries can be conditionally
built
- for each bundled library there are now two FindWrap scripts:
- FindWrapSystemFoo which finds an installed library in the system
- FindWrapFoo which either uses the system installed library or
the built bundled one depending on a condition
- projects that intend to use bundled libraries need to link against
WrapFoo::WrapFoo instead of WrapSystemFoo::WrapSystemFoo targets
(this is handled by pro2cmake).
Unfortunately manually added qt_find_package(WrapFoo) calls might
still be needed as is the case for WrapFreetype and others.
- a new cmake/QtFindWrapHelper.cmake file is added that provides
a macro to simplify creation of WrapFoo targets that link against
a bundled or system library. The implementation is fairly ugly
due to CMake macro constraints, but it was deemed better than
copy-pasting a bunch of almost identical code across all
FindWrapFoo.cmake files.
- a qtzlib header-only module is now created when using bundled
zlib, to provide public syncqt created headers for consumers
that need them. These are projects that have
'QT_PRIVATE += zlib-private' in their .pro files
(e.g. qtimageformats, qtlocation, qt3d, etc.)
This is unfortunately needed due to QtNetwork using zlib
types in its private C++ API.
The change includes support for building the following bundled
libraries:
- zlib
- libpng
- libjpeg
- Freetype
- Harfbuzz-ng
- PCRE2
The following 3rd party libraries are still using an old
implementation within the CMake build system, and should be migrated
to the new one in the near future:
- double-conversion
- Old harfbuzz
The are a few libraries that are not yet ported:
- system-sqlite
- systemxcb
- maybe others
Among other things, this change allows building qtbase on Windows
without requiring vcpkg.

This patch adds a new bootstrap tool which will read CMake's
AutoGenInfo.json and ParseCache.txt to determine what the current
list of json files is that needs to be passed to moc --collect-json
option.
Right now this is enabled for qt_add_module() with the option
GENERATE_METATYPES. pro2cmake has also been updated to detect qmake's
CONFIG += metatypes and to generate the above option for modules.
The implementation lives in Qt6CoreMacros so it can eventually be used
in the public facing apis.
The generated meta types file is saved under the target property
QT_MODULE_META_TYPES_FILE.

It should happen after qmake is built, to make sure that the target is
made global, otherwise when cross-building qtbase in another build tree,
the configuration phase will fail due to not finding qmake.
qmake was accidentally exported before if you configured qtbase twice,
because the tool was kept around in a cache variable, the second
configuration actually recreated the CoreToolsConfig.cmake file to
contain qmake as well.

At the moment, Coin builds tests as a separate qmake invocation
against an installed Qt. We need to support the same with CMake.
Change the tests subdirectory to be a standalone CMake project when
CMake does not detect an existing QtTest target while processing the
subdirectory. If the target exists, it means we are building the whole
repo, if the target does not exist, we need to call find_package
to find the installed Qt.
Refactor and move around a few things to make standalone tests build
successfully:
- add a new macro to set up paths to find QtSetup
- add a new macro to find all macOS frameworks
- add a new macro to set up building tests
- add a new macro that actually builds the tests
- export the INSTALL_CMAKE_NAMESPACE value into the BuildInternals
Config file
- export the CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE value, because a test project doesn't
have a .git subdir and thus defaults to be built in Release
mode, even though qtbase might have been built in Debug, so to
avoid the mixing, the propagate the build type
- stop overriding INSTALL_CMAKE_NAMESPACE and
QT_CMAKE_EXPORT_NAMESPACE inside QtSetup if they are set, because
the tests project doesn't specify a major version, and if we
override the values, the moc / uic targets don't get the correct
major version prefix and configuration fails

CMake will now generate config and target files for each module that
provides tools. As a result, namespaced global targets such as
Qt5::moc or Qt5::rcc can be made available.
Third party projects that require just these tools, and not the Qt
modules themselves, should specify CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH pointing to the
installed Qt location, and call find_package(Qt5CoreTools),
find_package(Qt5GuiTools), etc.
It is also possible to call
find_package(Qt5Tools REQUIRED Core Widgets) where the last option
is a list of modules whose tools should be imported.
Note that all the tools are in the Qt5::
namespace and not in the Qt5CoreTools:: or Qt5WidgetsTools::
namespace.
This commit also changes the behavior regarding when to build tools
while building Qt itself.
When cross compiling Qt (checked via CMAKE_CROSSCOMPILING) or when
-DQT_FORCE_FIND_TOOLS=TRUE is passed, tools added by add_qt_tool will
always be searched for and not built.
In this case the user has to specify the CMake variable QT_HOST_PATH
pointing to an installed host Qt location.
When not cross compiling, tools added by add_qt_tool are built from
source.
When building leaf modules (like qtsvg) that require some tool that was
built in qtbase (like moc), the module project should contain a
find_package(Qt5ToolsCore) call and specify an appropriate
CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH so that the tool package is found.
Note that because HOST_QT_TOOLS_DIRECTORY was replaced by QT_HOST_PATH,
the ensure syncqt code was changed to make it work properly with
both qtbase and qtsvg.
Here's a list of tools and their module associations:
qmake, moc, rcc, tracegen, qfloat16-tables, qlalr -> CoreTools
qvkgen -> GuiTools
uic -> WidgetTools
dbus related tools -> DBusTools
